This truly breaks my heart. Growing up I myself didn't get to experience many xmas because our family grew up poor.As an adult with kids going to the park at xmas time and watching the parade and fireworks had become a family tradition.we love experience it over and over again. The magic look on my kids faces was priceless and true I could buy a ticket it would be expensive on a family of 4 or to anyone and no guarantee parades or fireworks would perform as they can be cancelled at anytime or for any reason. I understand Disney is a business but xmas time is one of the busiest time of the year ,but how is it going to be to parks guest to leave early during a busy season as well. to me this is really sad news to hear and do not think voicing our concerns to Disney may help. any thoughts on this ? - pikarich

I normally take Disney's side when they seem to be getting beat up, but this time I'll pass. I don't like this either. I'll be seriously dissapointed if too much of the Christmas spirit is taken away on "normal" nights. - Tom

I agree, it really pisses me off. its taking away a lot of the magic of the holidays and just walking around the park at night and enjoying the music and atmosphere. So now they will probably have an inflatable tree they can take down for in time. And there goes closing the parks out for that time. Yeah we aren't happy about this either. We go every year at Xmas time to experience it and having to pay extra will take a toll.... And we did it at WDW one year and was very dissapointed with it... I guess we will just have to sit on the top of our hotel and listen from our phones and watch from there! Just sad and dissapointed.... - brodysmommy

I agree with DavidEMT. The reason I go for Christmas is for the memories and it's just so beautiful there during Christmas time, so I try to go as many times as I can during that time. They reason we're on MY and buy AP's and buy Disney merchandise is because of our love for Disney. Too bad Disney doesn't feel the same way. In the end it's all about how much profit can be made.
