I took my birthday boy to the cute little shop across from Soaring Over California and while checking out the cashier saw that it was my mini's birthday so told him to hold on while she made a phone call. She then gave my boy the phone and it was Goofy on the other end wishing him a Happy Birthday!! These are the moments about Disney that I love and cherish.
Hi friends! Super excited to be back at Disneyland in January and experience the Tinkerbell 10k. Anyone else planning for that weekend? I would love some new eating places for my family. We usually stick with Goofy's Kitchen, Naples, Carnation, and Plaza Inn. What's your favorite place to dine at?
Been home all week with an annoying kidney stone....who will be gone on Saturday...MW and your pictures have helped me this week to ignore the pain and see some happiness so thank you friends!! Keep them coming!!
Probably a dumb question or one that's been answered, but please help settle a bet between the hubs and I. Are the cars in Carsland that are used for photo ops driven by actual people or ran by remote?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
