Ok...so it has been a long time since I've been on (work, life, etc!) We're trying to put together a DL trip the week of Nov.17. Our daughter will be 9 (this will be her 3rd trip to DL. We plan to stay at HJ, what is the best building/room at HJ? Any other holiday tips?...this will be the family first time at the park for Christmas...

I like the older buildings (3,4,5,6) because the rooms are huuuuuge and they are easy access to the parking lot. Building 2 is newer and nice esp with the garden pool view. I've never stayed in 1. The HoJo Anaheim website has video tours of each room type. - Linzee 516.5 #226 10:14PM

I believe that is Thanksgiving week. A lot of schools have that week off, meaning it will be somewhat crowded. For Christmas wise, enjoy it! Its a very magical time to be at the parks - BaseballMickey_CM 2849.5 #15 10:10PM

...any help on Trivia Challenge? I have tried and the window just comes up with an error. If I go through FB I can take the challenge but it goes through my name and email with FB. I need to keep these emails seperate. Any thoughts, help would be great...

So I've been on MW for about a week. I try to take the Trivia challenge and just comes up an almost blank window from comcast. If I go in thru my FB it brings up the challange but also shows up with my user name and email for FB. I have to have different emails for FB and MW. I have read thru the FAQ and can't find info...anyone have ideas how to fix this??

Here's another question....What is the best way to book a package to stay at DL? We like to stay at HoJo (partly because we really like Mimi's)

Depends a little on your priorities. Are you saving money? Are you looking for the "ultimate Disney vacation"? Also, how many people are with you? How long do you plan on staying? Lots of things go into planning and booking a vacation. - MyPark 944.1 #91 9:15AM

The HoJo is a good choice and you can get a MW discount there. Also, you can get really good deals on Priceline if you know what you're doing, but be aware that you won't be able to choose your hotel. I don't know of a package like this, unless your travel agency is promoting something. But in the park there are many things you can do yourself to make that princess of yours feel special. Get her a pretty dress and visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, how about a character dining, go to City Hall and ask when the best time is to find the Princesses. - MyPark 944.1 #91 9:48AM

Just found site/app this morning! Cool so far. Planning a trip to DL next year, late summer or pos. Christmas season (which we've never done before) What does everyone think about going in Dec.?

I have heard the actual Christmas week(2) are very crowded. We are going Thanksgiving week so we can still enjoy all the holiday decorations without quite as many crowds. If you don't have kids or don't mind taking them out of school, week after Thanksgiving is supposed to be good, too. If you go in the summer, I would recommend June. The earlier, the better. The weather was so much more pleasant then. It gets hot later in summer, and has been plenty hot lately, too. But...it is fun no matter when you go!
