Wow guys! Yesterday the park was so empty we walked on to every ride! The only thing we had to wait for was dole whip! Today is California adventure. I am hoping we have the same luck with Radiator Springs!
Good luck and have fun - tish  260.3 #909 9:18AM
The best kind of luck to have! Here's to more of the same today! Have fun! - meridafan  1036.1 #83 9:19AM
As great as both parks are, the crowds do definitely impact my level of love. Always remember my first visit on Veterans Day, we left after 30 minutes (lack of awareness that holiday in USA).... DCA has so many quality attractions that with lighter crowds you will have an awesome time. Enjoy. - RapunzelledColey  13.0 #6027 11:01AM
Okay everyone. 4 days in the park, rode everything at least twice. rode Startours 5 times (still haven't seen all the permeations) My partner got to be the rebel spy on his first ride! I have convinced him that Disneyland is the best place on earth. No one tell him the short lines aren't normal. We already scheduled our trip for later this year. - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 4:08PM
Rebel spy on his first try? Now I'm jealous hehe, so happy for you guys. Here's to many more years and memories! - ribidib  404.3 #322 4:28PM

Aack! We decided to schedule our trip for a slow week so we could ride more rides (We want to see all the different Star Tours variation and ride Screaming until someone throws up) But I just looked at the entertainment schedule and there is only one World Of Color and one fireworks and they are both at nearly the same time. There is no way to leave world of color and still get good viewing of the  More...
Going to be honest, it's really difficult. The best I've done is go to DL as they start and try for a spot near beginning of Main Street - MarshaMouse  2868.3 #15 8:49AM
Bribe a bunch of MWers to save you a chunk of space.... best i got lol :P - Poisen_Ivy  258.0 #926 9:00AM
There really is only one world of color and one firework show. I checked the schedule. It's February 1st. I would LOVE to hire someone fom mouse wait to save us a spot. Is there a classifieds? Like a lot of people I have more money than time so throwing cash at the problem is kinda my default position. I even calle Disneyland to ask if there was any amount I could pay for priority seating and they sai it just doesn't exist. - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 5:29PM
I checked the calendar for February 1st and World of Color is at 8pm and 9:15pm. There are two showings. - Jenniferr  428.0 #295 6:22PM
You could do 8:00 WOC then the fireworks at 8:45. Gives you 20 minutes to walk alittle way down Main Street. - kskating  377.4 #361 6:29PM

I have a picture if my son getting his picture in mickey's house with Mickey dressed as the sorcerers apprentice but every time we go now its always the regular Mickey. Do they still do the apprentice?
Donald Trump has that covered now - ScooterMike  1959.8 #35 6:41PM
Yes he's still there. Its a random process when I go...sometimes I get Mickey, sometimes I get Sorcerer, and rarely do I get Steamboat. - iamdugsmaster  756.8 #133 6:43PM
Is there a set schedule or a way to request a specific Mickey? - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 8:33PM
I don't believe so, but if you ask the cm before you get in line they sometimes tell you what Mickey is wearing. He does several outfit changes during the day. - Miss-E-Mouse  795.2 #117 10:23PM
It doesn't hurt to ask :) - iamdugsmaster  756.8 #133 10:31PM
That's funny because I have the opposite problem-always sorcerer Mickey and I want the original - maybe we can photoshop ourselves into each others pictures lol - missyandpaul  255.7 #949 1:35AM

Does anyone know the dimensions of the lockers at Disneyland? I want to bring a cooler this year and I want to make sure it fits Thanks
While in the parks today I went by city hall and talked with Courtney the CM. She didn't know but she went in the back and when she returned gave a paper with all the dimensions of the lockers. Reg=12wx18dx12h. Large=15x18x18, jumbo=19x24x24. The ones outside the picnic area are 19x31x24. There are only a few of these and they go very quickly so be there when park opens. These are outside the screening area near the picnic area. Because they are in that area security patrols the area and the PD and Disney's security k-9's check it several times a day according to my friend who works security in DTD. Hope this helps. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 10:34PM

Here is a link to official Disneyland FAQ. There is one which addresses your question about locker size and coolers. Disney has size restrictions on cooler sizes in the park. Please read carefully: http://tinyurl.com/25xlykx - MyPark  944.1 #91 11:08AM

Thank you so much. I wonder why the cast member didn't know the directions or that there was a FAQ on it. You are awesome - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 12:30PM
I am not sure why the CM you spoke with did not have this info. I can tell you that MouseWait is a very good source of information. I've found many answers to questions here when no one else knew. Have a great time at the parks! - MyPark  944.1 #91 12:39PM

Thank you so much. I am going shopping for coolers tomorrow and now I know exactly what to look for. After I eat my lunch can I fill the cooler with Churros and take them back to my hotel? - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 11:03PM
I think security does not allow the hard sided ones or wheeled coolers inside, though you should have no trouble in the picnic area lockers. - bluefairy  627.1 #174 12:02AM

I have been to Disneyland about 100 times but this is my 30 year old boyfriends first trip. Anything extra fun I should have him do?

Hey this is a family park!! And they will stop the ride and say it over the loud speaker and then lecture you as you get out of your doom buggy! - Deltachiq  969.0 #90 7:16PM
Yeah, and if you feed your baby in the ride, they see that as well 😂😂 - Villescas8(V8)  589.1 #185 7:23PM
V8, I nursed my daughter on IASW, HM, POTC and even Winnie the Pooh! That was before I realized there were cameras 😱😱😱 - LaPearleNoir  573.6 #192 7:29PM

I love Disneyland so much but oh my God I can barely contain myself. I can't wait to take Nick for his first time! - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 1:55PM
We're taking our neighbor (also 30) for his first trip and I don't want to weird him out the whole time. I'm way too excited - FoolishMortal138  234.5 #1176 2:15PM
We did EVERYTHING!!!!! He giggled and skipped and bounced around with his "First Visit" button. No getting busy on the Doom Buggies, but a lot of holding hands and romance. It was also our first vacation with my 21 year old son and his partner and the 4 of us made amazing travel companions. It was PERFECT! Just perfect. - peckishpixie  3.5 #16916 4:10PM
