Mystery RAK at Disneyland. In about 20-30 minutes (however long it takes for me to walk there) there will be a mystery RAK in locker 1793 on Main Street. Code is 1910. Good Luck.
This is so ominous it's almost scary. - aidensmama  340.1 #624 9:09PM
Ok, so maybe not fun...maybe a lil creepy! - Minnis2Society  369.9 #550 9:21PM
Someone post what's in the locker. The suspense is killing me. - deletedmyself  148.9 #2591 9:38PM

The wife and I just started to get things ready for our trip in a few days and sadly it reminded me of the one and only bad experience I have ever had at Disneyland. The day someone stole my kids hats. One year ago today I accidentally left my kids Disney hats on Star Tours and even though I turned right around and was waiting for the doors to open as soon as the next ride finished; they were go  More...
Sorry to hear that. On the other side of that, on our last trip I dropped a small bag with some headphones and our WOC fast passes as we were walking to the show. I felt really bad because it was supposed to be my wife's first WOC since she got sick last time we went and couldn't watch it. The CMs were very nice and gave us replacement passes and luckily someone turned in my headphones to the lost and found. Now we have the passes we couldn't use to remind us of the good people who found my headphones. - jmotajr  7.8 #11149 7:25AM
Thats great to hear. I have had a lot of experiences like that where CMs bend the rules to help out. Hope she liked the show. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 8:08AM
Don't let it sour you on Disneyland and the amazing CMs. Last time we went my three year old decided that my brand new Droid needed to go visit Mickeys landfill (ie he threw it in the trash). By the time we realized it was gone and got the story out of him the trash had been removed. So I made a claim at lost and found and was sure it was gone. Two days after our trip Disney called they had the phone and shipped it back to me free. They are amazing! - brealover  298.0 #830 9:00AM
I havent been to Disneyland too many times in my life (about 6) but like I said, one bad experience in 40 years isnt too bad. Still love the place but just brings back a little anger since its one of those unresolved things. Gives the kids the chance to pick something different anyways. I just really appreciated the CMs, especially at lost and found, who may not have remembered my name but knew what I was there for every time I checked in. Its true that Disneyland is a magical place but the CMs are what keep the magic alive. As for this bad moment, I guess I just had to share it to get it out of my system so thanks for letting me vent a bit. I look forward to my trip next week and hopefully meeting some of my fellow MWers. Until then; keep the magic alive. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 9:47PM
Sometimes you've gotta put your past behind you! Don't let that one off moment stay with on this trip. You may spend the times focused on what bad will happen and maybe miss something awesome in a place where good usually out weighs the bad. I hope you have a lot of fun and make some fabulous memories with your family this trip! - 559MickeyLover  309.4 #764 10:01AM

I am now sad. Not only did I not get to run in any of the races this weekend but the half marathon is already sold out for January and the 5k is 83% full. Guess I have to wait until next summer.
If you would like to run the half you can look to causes to run on behalf of - BooEve123  800.9 #195 10:04PM
If I lived closer I probably would. Thanks for the tip, though. I will just wait til next summer. Will give me more time to prepare. Can barely run for 5 minutes at a time right now. Have a long way to go. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 9:56AM
then it sounds like starting to train now would be a great idea and have attainable goals. best wishes :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4459.8 #21 7:18PM

I personally want to thank Strawberryguy for streaming the Fantasmic AP event. I wish I could have been there myself but this was a close second. It's hard to believe that I first saw Fantasmic almost exactly 1 year ago (the 30th of Aug). I always wish I could be on the Mark Twain at the end with an autograph book for the kids. Thanks again!!!
It was amazing. - Mrs.mouse  517.1 #353 12:09AM

Just a heads up for anyone going to Disneyland soon. Disney now has a Photopass+ that you can preorder before your trip (at least 14 days). For anyone who normally buy the CD anyways it can be a great deal. Last year we paid $60 for the resort photo CD and got the Photopass CD for free (another great deal). The Photopass+ allows you to get all that plus all your ride and character dining photo  More...
Here is the link for the Photopass+ if you are interested (been a busy morning and I forgot to include it). http://www.disneyphotopass.com/dlrphotopassplus.aspx - justme2012  142.5 #2692 12:24PM
I just want to be clear on what this includes because I was reading into this today and not positive on what the deal with this is... So you pre order the photopass plus and with that you get the photopass cd where you can load all the photos from your trip including dining and attraction posters and the resort photo cd (which I assume is a cd with nice pictures of the resort??) and is that it? Or does it include prints too? I just want to have all the facts because I am considering this for my trip in November. Thanks! :) - kbritt27  278.1 #964 8:31PM
You get a voucher when you preorder, bring that to DL to get your photo pass. You get prints from character dining, but the rest are digital. So when you go to the attractions, after the ride you give them your pass and the picture loaded to your card. This also happens when CMs take your pictures with characters. When you get home, all the digital photos can be uploaded on their website to a cd that will be mailed to you. Preorder is 69, at the parks it's 99. Totally worth it since it's 14 per attraction print (which you can take more than one on each attraction to add to your cd) and 40 for character dining prints. You also get the resort cd, I believe. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  628.3 #275 9:08PM
Wow that does sound like a great deal. Thanks for the info! - kbritt27  278.1 #964 9:11PM
Also, if your family is on two different attractions at once, and you only have one card, get the photo number from the booth and it can be uploaded later when you have the card. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  628.3 #275 9:12PM
So, you can print out your attraction pictures or order them from say Walgreens at no extra charge? - aidensmama  340.1 #624 9:20PM
You can print out the attraction pictures at home or at Walgreens, but you'll have to pay for the ones from Walgreens. Instead of spending 14 for each print at park, you'll pay what ever it costs to get a print at Walgreens. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  628.3 #275 9:48PM
It doesn't include prints but you can get prints from Disneyland while you're there, from their website or take them to someplace local when you get your CD (or download). The photopass CD doesn't include uploaded pictures if you do it yourself online but may if they do it at DL (not 100% sure on this so ask a CM when you're there). This is mainly a good value if you plan on getting the Photopass CD anyways since the CD itself usually costs about $60 by itself. This way for a few dollars more you get the resort CD (pics of characters, DL, DCA, fireworks and the hotels) for free plus the ability to get all your attraction photos (splash, screamin, tower, space mtn, your character dining and whatever other attractions have disney taken photos taken) included. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 10:28PM
Well I know I'd have to pay Walgreens if I got it from them. Lol. I asked cause it will be worth it to pay say $1.99 at Walgreens vs $14.95 at Disneyland. :) - aidensmama  340.1 #624 10:37PM
You do get a print package from Character dining, it says that on the info page, but what I ment by "uploads" are the digitals that were put on your pass that you choose to put on your cd by uploading to the cd online. That needs to be done inorder for them to send you the cd. All the pictures must be put on the plus pass at Disneyland. It's a great deal and I'm really excited my travel agent let me know about it! - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  628.3 #275 11:18PM
We ordered this for our trip last month. So worth it! Will do every trip from now on. - girlzstylin  227.6 #1524 10:48PM

I was hoping someone may have tried and found out the answer but has Disneyland added WiFi yet? I know it's in the works but was hoping it was up and running by the time I'm down there in a couple weeks. Unfortunately WiFi is my only hope since I'm from outside the US and roaming would be atrocious. Thanks in advance for any info you might have.
If you're from out of the country the last thing I'd suggest is being in your phone wasting your time. - HotDiggityDogDaddy  1113.1 #134 9:52PM
I was just hoping to be able to use the phone to help here with the wait times. I am the designated runner for my family and know all the short cuts and tricks to get around the park and get fast passes for the family or whatever else is needed. I put on too many miles on my shoes. It would also be nice to give away all the extra passes at the end of the day to people here. When we were here at the opening of Star Tours I would just give them away randomly to whoever. The phone, though, is history otherwise. I will spend the money on Disney souvenirs and not on roaming. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 10:05PM

Giving your fast passes to random people is just as good as Raking them to fellow Mwers. You can always take lots of pictures and post them in collages here when you get home.. - mini_MINNIE   1010.7 #156 10:36PM
I don't mind giving away fast passes. I still have a 6 person fast pass given by a CM a year and a half ago (no expiration like some do) when a fast pass machine didn't work at Soarin'. Going to take it with me and try it when we go. BTW....my service provider gives 1MB or data in the US for a dollar (plus a $10 monthly fee) but charges 1.45 for a minute long phone call. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 10:54PM
Ooooo I hope they added it that's awesome!!! - disneylove7  32.6 #5148 9:44PM
No wifi in Disneyland but if ur by the dream suite when someone is inside the wifi is on. Or if ur in DCA if ur right by the grand u can use the hotels wifi - princessVanessa  384.3 #516 9:46PM
I heard about those spots but appreciate the info none the less. Hopefully they will have it at the beginning of the year for my 2nd trip we have planned. - justme2012  142.5 #2692 9:55PM
No wifi in the parks, but if you stand in the hotel lobby you can get it there. Also the cocos behind the park across the street has wifi for their customers. - mini_MINNIE  1010.7 #156 9:49PM
