Sorry to hear that. On the other side of that, on our last trip I dropped a small bag with some headphones and our WOC fast passes as we were walking to the show. I felt really bad because it was supposed to be my wife's first WOC since she got sick last time we went and couldn't watch it. The CMs were very nice and gave us replacement passes and luckily someone turned in my headphones to the lost and found. Don't let it sour you on Disneyland and the amazing CMs. Last time we went my three year old decided that my brand new Droid needed to go visit Mickeys landfill (ie he threw it in the trash). By the time we realized it was gone and got the story out of him the trash had been removed. So I made a claim at lost and found and was sure it was gone. Two days after our trip Disney called they had the phone and shipped it back to me free. They are amazing! - brealover 298.0 #619 9:00AM

I havent been to Disneyland too many times in my life (about 6) but like I said, one bad experience in 40 years isnt too bad. Still love the place but just brings back a little anger since its one of those unresolved things. Gives the kids the chance to pick something different anyways. I just really appreciated the CMs, especially at lost and found, who may not have remembered my name but knew what I was there for every time I checked in. Its true that Disneyland is a magical place but the CMs are what keep the magic alive. As for this bad moment, I guess I just had to share it to get it out of my system so thanks for letting me vent a bit. Sometimes you've gotta put your past behind you! Don't let that one off moment stay with on this trip. You may spend the times focused on what bad will happen and maybe miss something awesome in a place where good usually out weighs the bad. I am now sad. Not only did I not get to run in any of the races this weekend but the half marathon is already sold out for January and the 5k is 83% full. Guess I have to wait until next summer.

I personally want to thank Strawberryguy for streaming the Fantasmic AP event. I wish I could have been there myself but this was a close second. It's hard to believe that I first saw Fantasmic almost exactly 1 year ago (the 30th of Aug). I always wish I could be on the Mark Twain at the end with an autograph book for the kids. Just a heads up for anyone going to Disneyland soon. Disney now has a Photopass+ that you can preorder before your trip (at least 14 days). For anyone who normally buy the CD anyways it can be a great deal. Last year we paid $60 for the resort photo CD and got the Photopass CD for free (another great deal). The Photopass+ allows you to get all that plus all your ride and character dining photo More...

I just want to be clear on what this includes because I was reading into this today and not positive on what the deal with this is... So you pre order the photopass plus and with that you get the photopass cd where you can load all the photos from your trip including dining and attraction posters and the resort photo cd (which I assume is a cd with nice pictures of the resort??) and is that it? You get a voucher when you preorder, bring that to DL to get your photo pass. You get prints from character dining, but the rest are digital. So when you go to the attractions, after the ride you give them your pass and the picture loaded to your card. This also happens when CMs take your pictures with characters. When you get home, all the digital photos can be uploaded on their website to a cd that will be mailed to you. Preorder is 69, at the parks it's 99. Totally worth it since it's 14 per attraction print (which you can take more than one on each attraction to add to your cd) and 40 for character dining prints. You can print out the attraction pictures at home or at Walgreens, but you'll have to pay for the ones from Walgreens. Instead of spending 14 for each print at park, you'll pay what ever it costs to get a print at Walgreens. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper 324.1 #506 9:48PM

It doesn't include prints but you can get prints from Disneyland while you're there, from their website or take them to someplace local when you get your CD (or download). The photopass CD doesn't include uploaded pictures if you do it yourself online but may if they do it at DL (not 100% sure on this so ask a CM when you're there). This is mainly a good value if you plan on getting the Photopass CD anyways since the CD itself usually costs about $60 by itself. This way for a few dollars more you get the resort CD (pics of characters, DL, DCA, fireworks and the hotels) for free plus the ability to get all your attraction photos (splash, screamin, tower, space mtn, your character dining and whatever other attractions have disney taken photos taken) included. - justme2012 142.5 #2402 10:28PM

You do get a print package from Character dining, it says that on the info page, but what I ment by "uploads" are the digitals that were put on your pass that you choose to put on your cd by uploading to the cd online. That needs to be done inorder for them to send you the cd. All the pictures must be put on the plus pass at Disneyland.
