Your intentions are good, and that's an interesting feature. But I do think people may take advantage of it. If there's a way for people who accept the terms, that would be cool... it would be like foursquare - which many of us already use to see who's at the parks - you only check in when you are okay with people knowing where you are! - and only people who are your accepted friends get to see it! - LaTruce 1583.9 #47 4:13PM

That was kinda my idea. Think of it like a realtime chat room where your location is what is shared. You and your immediate friends opt into a group to share your location with them. And, if a RAK is sent for example, people who're interested would share their location with others in that group while they're joined. I work in my day job building Enterprise-scale social business iOS apps, so this would be just something fun & easy for me to do, and would hopefully add useful features to an app I love. :-) - NachoBear 6.1 #8893 7:44PM
