are Halloween decorations up already?

Not yet, but some stores are selling Halloween items and I saw some decor in a couple of shops. Halloween Disney was not built in a day. It officially starts Sept 13, I believe.  - JenGwen323  2041.4 #82 12:25AM

Congratulations in advance on all your hard work! Disney races are the best! You will feel amazing as you cross the finish line!
I'll be running my 3rd Tinker Bell Half in January. Had to skip Disneyland Half because I'm running a marathon in October and it didn't fit into my training schedule. :(
Have a great time!

I bought myself a pair of Heelys my Freshman year in college. I wore them once and biffed it in the middle of the student center 😳. Then I ripped the wheels out and gave them to my dog for chew toys. - Geekery  409.4 #562 4:10PM

hey mouse wait peeps. is the sheraton hotel next to DL any good?

The one that's close to the corner of harbor and ketela is amazing. - Pinup Princess  174.5 #2370 1:35PM
There are two. One is the Sheraton park at 1855 south harbor. I'll let you know when I arrive there on Friday :P - CandaceRMouse  56.6 #4633 1:44PM
Depends on which one you are referring to. There are three nearby and I've stayed at two of them. Sheraton Park is a great hotel. Very close by and within reasonable walking distance if you don't want to drive or take the ART. The other one I stayed at is Sheraton Garden Grove which is a bit further away. The only complaint I have about that one is the parking lot is very limited compared to the number of rooms it has. - KermitFan13  658.1 #315 1:50PM
Just finished my stay at sheraton park. First night was awful. They ran out of rooms and put us on the ground floor next to the door and it was an accessible room so we had a floor shower made for wheel chairs. The guy didn't seem to care it was accessible. Left for Disneyland around 7 and asked for a new room. They put us up directly facing DCA and it was a really nice room. Didn't spend too much time there, mostly in the park. They also give $25 a night in a gift card to spend on their restaurants. - CandaceRMouse  56.6 #4633 8:41AM

where is the eeyor sign in indiana jones? its driving me insane I cant see it and people keep looking at me like I'm crazy

As you leave the film room to enter Indy's office, look back above the projector, above the bamboo horizontal railing. Ask the CM if they will show you with a flashlight. - JungleBum  1017.0 #192 5:35PM
Yes, you can't see it without a flashlight. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3388.1 #45 5:38PM
Do I need the flashlight to see it, or is it visible without? - LuvsTigger  1675.4 #105 5:38PM

Behind the projector on the back wall of the inside queue area...look up. - Alicewhoareyou  2705.7 #54 5:33PM
I have never been able to actually see it. - Prettynpink1023  285.0 #1052 5:34PM
Same here, I was trying hard to find it. Remembered the tip to look for it as you leave the room. Still could not find it. - Lelundrial  711.1 #282 5:37PM
I'm always looking too. Found out the other day I was looking in wrong spot. I will keep trying - DebbyMouse7531  542.2 #17 5:55PM
I spotted the sign easily, but it took me FOREVER to spot the skeleton with the Mickey ears! - JustCantWait  1148.5 #164 5:55PM
I've heard of Bones, but have no idea where he's at. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  690.8 #297 6:00PM
This one I saw. You need to be sitting on the left side and look behind you after you enter the room with all of the skeletons - DebbyMouse7531  542.2 #17 6:30PM
Yes! Although, the last time we rode (last month), his ears seemed to be missing. - susieQzee  555.8 #382 6:51PM

does disneyland sell anything for dogs? ha so random

The only thing for dogs, that I know of, are the dog collars that are sold in the leather shop in Frontierland. They run around $25 and you can personalize them too - BaseballMickey  7890.2 #11 7:02PM
I read on here before that if you have a small dog, the shirts at Build A Bear will fit them 😍 - SPandEvLover  4726.3 #29 7:32PM
I have stumbled upon a few shirts for dogs. I also learned that I couldn't get a hat stitched for my dog dimples. The CM said it could be mistaken as a gang name hehe. I totally understood but thought it was funny at the time. - ribidib  1187.7 #155 5:51PM

has anyone had the shishkabob? if so where do you get these, I hear they are amazing.

Perhaps you mean the Bengal Skewers? They are in Adventure land across from the Jungle Cruise. Did that help you? - MrsMears  217.3 #1817 1:58PM
You mean Bengal Barbeque - ScooterMike  1963.0 #88 1:58PM
I love the veggie skewer. Nom 😁 - MermaidWithShears  1025.8 #190 2:13PM
I think they also have them in DCA at the Paradise Garden Grill. I myself thought those were just okay, but I do enjoy the Bengal BBQ at DL. - aidensmama  340.3 #728 2:14PM

I'm going with my brother and his family. sad story though, he had never been. what are some must do's while there?

That's not sad at all. One of the great pleasures is going to DL with someone who has never been. Fire up the DL website at home and let them choose an itinerary. - Experiment818  1647.2 #106 11:18AM
Agree with this 110%! Going with someone who has never been, or rarely goes is the best! And at least they get to go now, many never get a chance. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘ - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4409.5 #34 1:07PM

That's not sad. I love introducing people to the magic of Disneyland. Was able to enjoy the experience of my two lil cousins Trevor and Taylar going through DL and DCA for the first time earlier this year. Just do whatever you normally do when you go to the parks or what you think your brother and his family may enjoy doing. Try not to overwhelm them if you are going for multiple days. - KermitFan13  658.1 #315 11:18AM

has anyone done the davy crockett canoes? of so where is it and do you have to reserve a time? or how do you do this cause out looks fun.

I've done the canoes many times. The loading dock is in front of Splash Mountain near the Hungry Bear restaurant. Its only open at certain times of the day because of the weather and/or the amount of crowds. Its fun and you get a workout too - BaseballMickey  7890.2 #11 10:27AM
works off the onion rings at hungry bear ;0) - OhanaPhoto  6397.5 #21 2:26PM
You just go down to the loading dock, I rarely see more than a 15 minute wait time for it. - madsdad  1868.2 #97 10:21AM
Also this is why I am a raging stud bull and rawk the faux suede fringe laden pantaloons. 😜 - Butterlina  1576.4 #112 10:24AM
Head toward Critter Country just past the Splash Mountain falls. On your right you will see the loading dock for the Davy Crockett Canoes. Operating times vary depending on weather and they generally close at dusk. - MickeyFan  1205.7 #153 10:29AM
