Just got back from 2 nights at the Park Vue Inn. its right at the bus entrance where everyone crosses the street to enter Disney. Our room was about 50 yards from that traffic light. Can't get much closer.
Nice rooms. Decent free breakfast. Nice staff. Would stay again.
We always stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn .... It's the closest as far as walking distance goes and the rooms are good, not fancy but it's a good clean place to rest your body and it has a small pool, hot tub and laundry room. Hope that helps - EdLovesAlvena

We stayed at the Red Lion in May and thought it was great. We paid around $80 for the night and that included a breakfast buffet. I called and the rate we got was a Disney special. They also had a room with a view of the fireworks for $10 more. - kgmommy
