It is impossible for me to not fall in love with the park again this time every year. I never grown tired of the lights, the music, the parade. No where I have ever traveled catches the beauty of Christmas better. The castle is breathtaking. The tree is overwhelming. And, it snows. No matter how many times I am on Main street I can’t help but get caught up in this Magic. I find myself stopping to watching the hustle and bustle. People moving, crossing, stopping, shopping as the busily go about their play. Then, like a dream, it happens. Lights begin to change. Music swells, and snow begins to fall. You can actually feel the temperature drop and feel the hearts warm. The activity that just filled Main Street has all but disappeared. Reality has been put on pause. People gather close together, hug, hold hands, twirl, laugh and dream. The Holiday Spirit envelops the street and everyone surrenders to the moment. As the last of the snow settles to the ground, the lights and music return to normal, the spell is lifted. Activity resumes where it left off as if nothing had ever happened, except…it did. And it was Magic. THIS is Disneyland.
