Just came across a video on Youtube I have not seen in a very long time. Its an 44 minute video tour of Disneyland in 1956 in color and narrated..This one is pretty unique as it shows the Disneyland Hotel from the firs year it opened and also has some unreal video of main Street including the Flag Retreat cerement from 1956 and also all your other fav lands with some breathtaking shots...Enjoy..Make sure you look out for the Lions in the Jungle Cruise, pretty funny how they have Zebra legs in their mouths https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctFxCt-GLq4

Okay, started watching it. I love how 56 years later, the Mark Twain still has the band sitting in front, playing! That is so awesome. I kind of remember the mule train and some of that Frontierland stuff. But boy, it sure looks empty without New Orleans Square, POTC and the Haunted Mansion! I love going through the Jungle Cruise ride! How about the girls sitting 'side saddle' on the carousel, because they are wearing dresses! Funny! I also noticed the guy that they showed up close on the Rocket does not have a seatbelt! Can you imagine that today? Wouldn't you just love to see Walt Disney leading the parade today?
