#News- MICKEY'S HALLOWEEN PARTY 2012 UPDATED!- I'll try to cover everything like last year, so here it goes: HOURS: Most of the parties (with a few exceptions) will take place on either Tuesdays/Fridays. Tuesday- party starts at 6pm (Check-in starts at 3pm); Friday- party starts at 7pm (Check-in starts at 4pm). Main Street stores will stay open an additional hour after normal park closing for your shopping convenience. Disney California Adventure Park will stay open until 8pm and Tuesdays and 12am on Fridays. PARKING: The Mickey and Friends Parking Structure and Toy Story Parking Lot will be open for the event. ENTRY: Because this is considered a special event, every guest, ages 3 and up, must have a special ticket for the event. When you enter Disneyland Park, you will immediately be handed 3 things: 1) A Wristband (very important), 2) A special Park Map and 3) Treat bag. Those who want to purchase tickets for the event on the day of OR those guests who are in the park during the normal operating park hours who need to pick up their wristbands, report to the outside area of Westward Ho Trading Company in Frontierland, where CMs can help you there. ATTRACTIONS: Most of the attractions will be open, with the exception of those that are currently down for refurbishment and Mickey's ToonTown. IASW will be closing on October 23 due to the holiday overlay installment. The Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch will not be open during the party. FOOD: Most of the food locations will be open, including many that will be offering special food offerings for just this event. STORES: Many stores will be offering exclusive Mickey's Halloween Party merchandise only during the event. Main Street will stay open 1 hour after the party for your shopping convenience. PARADE: Mickey's Costume Cavalcade will march through the party at 8:30 and 10:30, following the traditional parade route. FIREWORKS: The always popular Halloween Screams fireworks will take place at 9:30pm (parts of Fantasyland will close due to fireworks). CHARACTERS: There will be many character meet-and-greet locations throughout the park, such as Peter Pan and Wendy, Jack Skellington, the Stormtroopers and Phineas and Ferb. Also, watch out for a surprise in Town Square. There will also be a couple dance areas at Tomorrowland Terrace, featuring Buzz Lightyear and the Green Army Men, and at Rancho Del Zocalo, featuring pirates. TREATS: This year, there will be a total of 14 treat trails that will be available to trick-or-treat at. The locations are the following: Main Street Flag Pole, Main Street Cinema, Innoventions, Pixie Hollow, Tomorrowland Monorail station, Dumbo, Village Haus, Matterhorn, the Golden Horseshoe, Big Thunder Ranch, Rivers of America, the fountain near Haunted Mansion Holiday, the Canoe dock, Splash Mountain and the Critter Country train bridge. On the park map given to guests, there will an orange Mickey pumpkin symbol in each land to symbolize which land has a treat trail. In the park, each treat trail will have a white Mickey pumpkin symbolizing where the trails are. But, there may be 2-4 trails in each land, so keep an eye out for all of them. Each trail will offer an assortment of candy and healthier treats. COSTUMES: All costumes worn for Mickey's Halloween Party must follow the Disneyland Resort costume regulations, which includes masks may be worn, but we must be able to see your eyes at all times and costumes should not drag on the ground. If you've made it to this point on this post, you've learned a lot. Hope everyone has a safe and happy time while enjoying this very unique event at Disneyland! Note: All information above may change due to possible changes in the weather. (Mickey's Halloween Party will take place on the following dates: October 31 (Halloween Night!) All nights are sold out except the 29 and 31

unFORECAST for the week of June 29, 2015
Last year, Independence Week was unusually slow. July 4 was one of the slowest days of the year, if you can believe that! Looking back at MouseWait's Historical Crowd Index (available in our new MagicPlan iOS Calendar), this week averaged in the 60s, which is not very crowded at all. It is supposed to cool down a little later in the week, which could bring large crowds this weekend. To get a real-time look at how crowded the Parks are, check the MouseWait app for real-time Crowd Index averages and wait times. - Admin Jun 29, 2015 12:52PM
