Hi I am new to mousewait. ~ I thought I would edit this post and give a bit more of a proper introduction. First of all I am a mother of 2 girls who from the moment they were born loved Disney princesses. One day when they were 3 (they are twins) I told my husband that as a birthday surprise I wanted to take them to Disneyland to meet the princesses in person, and that is exactly what I did. They both fell in love with Disneyland so much that we made it a tradition to go every year on their birthday. My name is Marney and I never grew up with Disneyland or Disney mostly because I come from a family of all boys and didn't have a mom who would tell me fairy tales and dress me in girly pink. When I took my kids to Disneyland it was an adventure for me as well because it was my first time too! And, as they fell in love, I fell in love too. My kids are now teenagers and we still too this day go every year on their birthday, and they still ask that famous question that all parents know very well, "are we there yet?" 2 years ago my prince charming got in a car accident on the way home from work, it still is hard to this day for all three of us but I think we can all agree that whenever we go to Disneyland we feel as if he is right along side us telling us, "I love you guys" with his big goofy smile :)
