You have to like cold cuts, which I do. 😄 there's a bit more bread than i like, but i would order it again if i wanted another coffin. it's a big sandwich, I think two could share, maybe add a salad or soup for a light meal. 😉 - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:20PM

A Muffaletta is a sandwich originating in New Orleans. Made with capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, salami, ham, provolone and an olive salad (paste): olives, onion, celery, etc. it's really good if you like olives! The Disney version was a bit light on the olive salad part for me. This year I'm going to as for extra! - Gia 785.4 #121 6:31PM
Do they make these to order? I'm not a fan of olives but the rest sounds good. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 6:32PM
They were premade, but they asked me if I was okay with the olive spread, which makes me think they have some without. - bluefairy 627.1 #174 8:40PM
Also comes with chips. 😃 - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:17PM

You can also get the coffin with popcorn in it for $12 if the sandwich isn't your thing. - aidensmama
336.5 #445 6:28PM
No discount on the popcorn, though. 😉 - bluefairy 627.1 #174 8:38PM
True but I love popcorn no matter what. I may have to get another because my son wants to steal mine. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 9:18PM
Total cost, with premium discount is $13.73. - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:24PM
I think the ghost Mickey holds more popcorn, though. 😉 - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:29PM
I might have to buy Mickey too. I went crazy on Friday. I got the coffin, the demitasse, and the travel mug. Next time I'll get the $6 bucket. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 9:37PM
How good is this? Can you compare it to original New Orleans muffuletta? And is there a veggie option? I love the coffin!! - PickyPicky

I've had both and prefer the New Orleans one. Probably because they use all the ingredients and it's huge! But the DL one is still really good and I'd definitely get it again! - Gia 785.4 #121 6:51PM
Oh...and if there is a veggie option, then it wouldn't be a Muffaletta! - Gia 785.4 #121 6:52PM
I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask, but obviously it wouldn't be a veggie muffuletta, it would be some other kind of sandwich or wrap. - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:22PM
NOLA is my second home and some places will do a veggie option even if it's basically just olive salad and cheese. yummo tho! - PickyPicky 14.7 #5720 9:30PM
Lol, maybe you could call ahead. They *are* premade, but maybe they have some extra bread and can whip something up. 😃 - bluefairy 627.1 #174 9:48PM
Does it creak when you open it! Cute! - meridafan
