This is Dodgers vs Angels at Anaheim Stadium. This RAK is open to any MWer with mouse rank points of 55 and over. Please don't enter if you can't make it. Winner to be announced Tuesday June 12 in the evening. To enter just say "play ball" along with your favorite Dodgers or Angels memory. The meetup will continue at the parks after the game. If you prefer to buy some, I have five tickets left.

Play ball! My favorite memory was in 2002, when I got to see my Angels clinch the ALCS against the Twins. I had made a sign that said, "Twinkies - Breakfast of Champions!" Troy Percival (another UCR alumn) pointed to it, laughed, and gave me a wave. Post game, as the stadium was rockin', Tim Salmon ran along the fences, holding the trophy up high for all the fans to see. I love me some King Fish! Such a great moment to experience! - susieQzee

That is my fav moment too!! Have you ever been on the Stadium Tour at Dosgers Stadium? They take you to the dug out and on the wall in the dug out that leads to the locker room is a huge picture of the Kirk Gibson doing the clutch!! It's sooo awesome!! I actually hve never seen a Dodger or Angel game. I once saw a Giants game for a 6th grade field trip. It twas fun to watch with my friends, walk around the park, and go on this Coca Cola slide. That's my only memory but it was memorable! - Starr 549.9 #201 10:23PM

(please don't disqualify me for breaking the rules) The first is my very first Dodger memory...sneaking my transistor radio & listening to Vin under the covers when I was a wee little girl. The second was the last game I went to with my brother. It was his birthday, the game went into extra innings, the Dodgers won and we watched fireworks after. I don't qualify for this RAK, but my 2 favorite memories (besides Gibson's '88 HR) are RJ Reynold's squeeze play in '83 to defeat the Braves during a pennant race, and Mike Scioscia's homer vs the Mets in the 88 NLCS. 3 most dramatic plays in my lifetime. - Grindcore

Ahhhh Play Ball... My Dodger favorite memory is Oral Hershiser striking out the last batter in game 5 of the world series... I was just a young lad but it definitely left a lasting impression in my mind. I still see it now, as Oral went down to 1 knee and basically did the first tebow ever...
