From miceage.com: CM previews to last a week from June 4th to 8th. AP previews may be charged, not free and all the proceeds goes to CHOC. Walls around Carsland and BVS will not come down until June 14th. Discuss.
This might be a un-popular comment but this seems like a forced donation to the charity and taking away a portion of the AP perks. Why not set up a stand outside the CA gates? Or set up a portion of the retail AND food sales from the preview event and the Grand Opening week go towards the charity instead? - Donaldfan_532

It's alright. I'm sure these details are still up in the air. I reported last week that previews might not even happen, yet it might happen. - BCC 4640.8 #5 9:59AM
I like the idea of purchasing tickets over entering your email and hoping you get picked. This way everyone has more of a "fair" chance. Plus you don't have to pay of you don't want to. AP days are right before the opening. You could just wait. - KissDclown 1088.1 #77 11:44AM
CHOC is the Children's Hospital of Orange County, not necessarily a charity (: - Jacqueline 546.7 #205 12:55PM
Well, I don't mind the idea because I think it's awesome, but I do see your point. However Kiss makes a great point--this way, everybody really has a chance... I understand that some may not have the money, but if you have an AP, chances are you can afford at least a $10-20 ticket. If more than that, I see it being a problem - KylaShea 533.2 #214 3:00PM
It also said there would be magic morning hours just for APs at 7am for DCA. Here's the link to the article: http://t.co/oEnhZWgN

I agree with donaldfan. They should donate some proceeds from food and merch sales instead. Ap holders should not have to pay more to see a new attraction in the park. As a premium holder myself I pay a great price already! Just sayin.... - parkcrazy

Well you don't have to pay If you don't want to. You're welcome to wait a few days for it to be open. I personally like the idea of purchasing tickets. This way it's a bit more "fair" instead of the "lotto" system of entering your email. - KissDclown 1088.1 #77 11:42AM
I hope it isn't very expensive since all my money goes to my AP payments anyways. But I really don't mind paying since its its going to a charity. - tiggertwin

I'm sorry but I don't like the idea of paying some of us aren't rich! I only get my ap since its a birthday gift for me. I would like to give to the charity if I could but something that I could afford :( Does anyone know what will happen with the GAC for carsland? - princessVanessa

I'm still on the fence about Carsland, but it should be interesting once it opens. I used to work at CHOC, so I'd gladly pay knowing the money would go straight to the hospital. With that said, I understand why people wouldn't want to pay. - Jacqueline

It depends on the price. "donations" tend to be expensive, so I'll just wait the extra week...very patiently - ladylikesdisney

Miceage says a couple hundreds....I'm just going to wait too - princessVanessa 382.5 #352 1:02PM
I'd suggest reading the article. There is one lottery ap preview day scheduled for the 11th, and June 14th dca will be closed to the public. Lots of good info in there - ladylikesdisney

"charge several hundred dollars per head to only a few thousand APs." WHAT! Per the article, if this is true....just wow! - SupremeLeader

I hope they don't charge for previews. I think if they want to do something for charity have an exclusive shirt or merch where proceeds go to a foundation or something. It is more fair that everyone is entered and randomly chosen. Having to pay for a preview isn't fair to those who cannot afford an extra money. - MissErikaRae_CM
