Well, my 2nd favorite strawberry;-), I agree with some of this but I won't appoligize for helping to get rid of a dangerous troll. If she had had class and left it would have stopped sooner. Also just to clarify, no one Did anything wrong at the Astro blaster. It's just a joke. The first time we have no idea what stopped the ride. They said a bad car that was empty. The second was the CM. sorry if anyone really believed a MWer broke any rules. Personally my report finger is all over the "X" rated conversations. - SueBayou

I was at Disneyland this past weekend and did not go to the Astro meet-up because it was made very clear my group was not welcomed, we were told to come back at 12. Thank you for this post! I've seen the trends you have mentioned and it was disappointing to see the same people who are welcoming new users, turn around and make accusations over a hunch. I love it when the lounge is positive and full of pictures and stories that really touch my heart. To wake up and see negativity In the lounge ruins my happy day. MW is my escape from my troubles and worries. I'm sure it's the same for alot of us. We should all strive to make MW a place where we can come together and share our love for everything Disney and most importantly our love for each other as a family. Yuup, you did start this AB meetups and I was soooooo fortunate to be a part of the beginnings of this continuing tradition meeting such amazing people like you, the Mrs., Sandcars, Tinky, ThinkThinkThink. It's so amazing how it's grown, but really saddening to see that abused by "breaking" or "not inviting" other MWers to join along. AB meetups have a special place in my heart because that's how I started to meet MWers and meet so many wonderful people who have become my great friends, including you! ^_^ Thank you for standing up and saying this all of this. The lounge needs more positive vibes and I'll continue to report posts that steer to that negative direction. Because of all the antics going on beautiful live photos are getting buried! One of my favorite things to do on MW is post live photos for those who are not able to go as often as most of us which are bumped in a matter of mins to the second or third page. Strawberry FTW! New members join this app every hour of every day, and if all they see is negativity (including sarcasm, which is usually misread and misconstrued), then they are quick to leave and, quite possibly, give the app we love negative feedback in the Android Market or iPhone app store. Admin doesn't deserve the repercussions of bad behavior in The Lounge. He's worked too hard for this success. Thanks for speaking up about this, Strawberry! Fantastic post, JVSG! Like a lot of others, I have had this app for a while but have been more of a lurker than a poster. It is very intimidating to come into an established group, especially one that seems to have very strong bonds and inside jokes. I love all of the live pictures and other quality posts but they seem to get buried under the drama. We all have a shared love for all things Disney. We should remember what this app is all about and especially what Walt Disney would think of our actions and comments when it comes to Disney related things. I have come to respect a lot of MWers from just reading their posts. We should all treat others the way we want to be treated. We should be a loving and welcoming family! Thank you to all of you for giving me a laugh, keeping us all up to date on Disney news, giving tips, showing genuine love for each other, and also giving me my Disneyland fix since I live in northern California. Let's forget the past and keep moving forward! =) - kayceeb

I agree in the main, but two points I want to get to:1) "know your place" - just because someone is new here does not mean they're worthless. I hope those folks will find someone they're friends with who can report for them, or just email admin. No one needs to feel they're totally powerless here.2) "we're the only group that has 50+" people. Sadly, no. There are other groups. They are less frequent, but they do exist. How about just encouraging people to behave themselves, whether or not they're in a MW meet up? - ThatKimberly

Β My dear @JediveganStrawberryguy - thanks so much for putting this into words. Sometimes it is too easy to get caught up in something that is really not βbadβ, but that we just find silly or annoying. The worst is when there has been something going on all day (like repeated drawings or half eaten food) and then someone who does not know the history (and has seen others post pics of food) posts for the first time a corndog with a bite out of it and then all hell breaks loose. Itβs good to be reminded that when the issue truly is something that should be reported, to just simply report it and move on. And sometimes we just need to stop and think about the words we are using, and how they would sound to someone on the outside, who perhaps is not familiar with the culture of the lounge, or is not aware of the history. I appreciate people like @Spoonful_O_Sugar and @Marshamouse who strive to answer with kindness and keep a positive tone. I even appreciate @MrsBlue 's new 'tone' (I shall call you MrsPeriwinkle :) ***** Perhaps those of us who are on here often should have some code words to remind each other to stop the drama (*STD!*) or not to hijack someone's post (*helloooo DB Cooper*) - LOL! ***** - PrincessKristin

I know things have gotten out of hand and I apologize if I had anything to do with it. I do know that if nothing was said about a certain individual, they would still be here and that would not be ok. I was on the AB ride the first time it broke down and I know we had nothing to do with it. I know that ppl we were joking that MWers broke the ride but really? We can't break the AB ride!!! I also apologize for joking around that I was the person who had climbed on top of the GRR. It was all out of good fun and just felt that everyone could use a laugh once in a while. I love this app and for the short time I have been on MW I have met some amazing ppl and made some life long friendships!!
