It is my understanding that some of the Saved By The Bell references may be a little dated for some of MW. Allow me to explain: it's sort of like Pokemon, where everyone knows Pikachu and Charizard from the originals but nobody knows any of the weird and bootleg Pokemon after that. Or like on Doug where the show went to Disney and his voice totally changed (except H3D is Doug Funnie in both versions). Hope that helps.
