I don't know If you follow Dave DeCaro on Twitter (@DavelandWeb) or read his blogs with great old Disneyland photos, but he posted his thoughts on losing The Carnation Plaza Gardens that I think many of us feel the same.

GodofWine: It's a dance/bandstand area on the left side of the Castle (facing the Castle) that has been a staple at DL for years. Many famous performers have, well, ah, performed there. And kids have danced there (many with fond memories) over the years. I even have my own childhood memories there...although one quite sad Grad Night story. ;) - RadioMaverick

Thanks for the link. I'm with you 100% on this one. I have loved the Carnation plaza for many years. Especially the Big Band music & dancing. Used to be the best date night spot! I can't believe they're replacing it :( - LAFDWifey

Totally gonna sign the petition and spread the word, the princesses are fine where they are and the carnation plaza is my favorite place to get away from the crowds! Possibly even my favorite area in the park considering all the fun ive had with characters there! - jazzydarling
