I woke up at 4:30 to get a ride to catch a bus to get a train to another bus to get to the parks by 10:45. So, I'm curious to know, what lengths do my fellow carless friends do to get to Disneyland?

I get up at 4am. Take a 2 hr ferry. Cross theborder Drive all day until about midnight. Stay in a hotel, but get on the road again by 7 am and drive all day again. We usually get there about 3 pm (after 24 full hrs of actual driving) and I love all of it cause every mile takes me closer to dl. And thats with a car! - ready4vacation  8.8 #7210 7:16AM
I get on the freeway then off again 20 minutes later. - CxD_CM  518.6 #224 7:17AM

A 15 min. bike ride - RoblesAlf  5.2 #10245 7:20AM
CxD & RA - I wish I lived that close! My sister lives a half hour away so I stay with her for a lot of my visits. - blackqueenphoenix  4.0 #13724 7:26AM
Mother of 4... So have to put the kids to sleep by 7 pm and get them showered and ready and out the door by 7:30 and catch the freeway, hoping that I missed all the traffic on the 91. Or go around doubling the car ride, and hoping the kids are still in a good mood. - Mickey-Ears-Lucy  152.4 #2257 7:26AM
Drive for 3-4 hrs in my car. Depends on traffic. I wish I could take public transportation but its more expensive than driving where I am coming from. - DisneyBride°O°  366.5 #381 7:35AM
On the start of heading to Disneyland I leave my house ASAP like 3 am to drive all morning to arrive in San Diego for a couple of hour to continue our journey....the next morning I'm ready to head to Disneyland.... - sweetnerdiheartmickey  252.2 #990 7:49AM
It'a a bit of a hike for us, unlike @CxD! Lol - donnievegas  1127.5 #72 7:54AM
Haha it's not as easy if I'm trying to go at like 4 in the afternoon! With traffic that'll take me an hour to an hour and a half! - CxD_CM  518.6 #224 7:59AM
15 mins. up the 5frwy & we're there! - LMAO-Asturi  173.2 #1951 8:29AM

Wow i admire you guys. I only have a 10-15 minute drive down harbor blvd. - bellasmommy12  10.9 #6489 9:50AM
Would get up @ 4am, walk 5 blocks to the bus stop. Then get off the bus n wait for the 460 bus to Disneyland... - Minnie13  97.9 #3053 9:51AM
5 - 6 hour drive for us down the 5, try to leave around 4 in the morning and get the kids to bed early to prepare for the drive. Of course they have it pretty easy with watching movies on the way down.  I lived in Mission Viejo during high school and that was about a 15 - 20 minute ride, miss that sometimes - TigerLily76  256.1 #944 9:52AM
Minnie13- the 460 is the one from downtown la, right? Do you know how close it is to union station? I wonder if it'd be quicker than going to fullerton then bussing. - blackqueenphoenix  4.0 #13724 9:53AM
Little over an hour away. I can go everyday if I want to get up at 5am and hitch a ride with hubby and spend the day alone. He works 3 miles from the park. Lol - SueBayou  2012.0 #34 9:57AM
Blackqueenphoenix from where I live I'm not to close to union station.. But thank u for the info.. The way I c it all the bus ride r well worth the wait.. :0) - Minnie13  97.9 #3053 10:07AM

My luxurious broom. - Butterlina  1307.8 #62 10:48AM
I travel by yak across a desert so I can hop a sub under the ice sheets, then I hang-glide to a waiting llama who crosses lava rocks. Or I just hop a plane from Seattle.  - mcarthy6  426.5 #298 10:49AM
Same as bigchile. - maxinerenton  415.1 #311 10:52AM
12 hour drive from NM. We go early to avoid the AZ heat. Tradition is stopping and having In-N-Out on the way (our closest one is 7 hours away!). - TinkerBelle73  4.7 #11100 11:00AM
24-36 hours by car if we drive straight through or 2 days if we want to sleep. 3 hours by plane. Plane always wins, go figure. I always beg hubby for a road trip to see the sights, but he'd rather take a plane. - ColoradoMickey  534.9 #212 11:02AM
I was looking at the bus from chino hills to DL and at 5 it's a 2hr ride with 6 transfers to get there @7 , I would do that but it's getting home that's my concern it's a 4 hr ride back. It's also 88 for a taxi one way - bigben1138  310.2 #557 11:08AM
Used to be the same as TinkerBelle73. But I moved from northern NM to sunny SoCal. Went from a 13 hour ride once a year to a 15 minute ride almost every week! :) - youcanfly17  3.8 #14429 11:10AM
