My favorite place to eat is the Cafe Orleans. I love the pomme frites and monte cristo. Not only are they both delicious but it is comfort food to the max. It just makes my tummy and soul happy. - aidensmama  339.4 #446 8:56PM
LOVE Rancho del Zorro!!!! I have the burrito w/ steak * note: I usually eat it for lunch since it is such a big meal, then snack the rest of the day - mzdisnee  231.0 #20 6:14PM
My most favorite place to eat is Napa Rose. I would eat there every time if I could. I can't really choose a favorite dish because the menu is seasonal and changes frequently. The food is exceptional and the service is impeccable. The cost is only a few dollars more than the Blue Bayou but you cannot put the Blue Bayou against Napa Roses food or service. ๎— - Dahulagirl  1053.8 #83 6:55PM
I agree! I've only eaten there once, but it was by far one of the best meals we've ever had, ANYWHERE! - PrincessKristin  776.9 #125 9:16AM
Big Thunder Ranch BBQ all you can eat and some of the best slaw I've ever had....yum! - VeloMouseGirl  549.7 #210 9:15PM
Tip for Big Thunder Ranch BBQ if you are a vegetarian or like me just like veggies the vegetable and tofu vegetarian option is so yummy and it's all you can eat too. Very heathy and very yummy, but I love grilled veggies. - brealover  298.0 #634 3:54AM
Being the health nut that I am, I have to say Bengal BBQ. One of the healthiest options in the parks. - Yoshi  257.2 #952 7:00PM
You are right... Bengal is great. The chicken at the Inn is too greasy. I expected it to be like Roscoe's chicken and waffles and it wasn't. I also like Flo's Diner. - verofern  135.0 #2565 2:36AM
The plaza inn and the Mexican restaurant - sylviamta  16.1 #5621 7:15PM
Rancho del Zorro - nittywitty  194.9 #1734 2:58AM
Plaza Inn Fried Chicken. It reminds me of my grandmothers! It's so filling and I look forward to it every year!! - missdonduck  7.9 #7798 7:22AM
I'm a vegetarian, so it's much harder for me to find food in the parks. I usually stuck to ice cream at the golden horseshoe or a veggie burger from hungry bear. But since using MouseWait, I've found that Rancho(which I couldn't even locate before) has cheese enchiladas, Bengal BBQ has veggie kabobs and where I can find a three cheese Monte cristo. Very valuable information for my trip in T-5 days. - DelilahJo3  178.6 #1914 8:23AM
@DelilahJo3, I'm a vegetarian as well so one of my favorite spots in the park is The Carnation Cafe. They have a great veggie sandwich! - kbeenss  181.5 #1882 8:51AM
I love the potato soup at Carnation Cafe...I usually get it with a sandwich. Next time I am at DL I am going to try the Plaza Inn chicken since that seems to be a favorite of many people! Thanks Admin, fun post to read and get ideas! - MinnieMousewife  636.1 #173 7:30PM
Carnation Cafe - cindy4eva  5.0 #10811 9:17PM
The places we always have to eat at are Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans and Rancho Del Zocalo. Blue Bayou for the atmosphere and Jambalaya, Cafe Orleans for beignets, and Rancho for tasty, big portions. For DCA, Wine Country Trattoria. Good food, good wine. 'nuff said. :-D - Fanatic4Disney  258.3 #937 11:09AM
Thunder Ranch BBQ is sooo yummy!  (and all you can eat!) - CinderellyKelly  197.1 #1705 9:25AM
I gotta say, the Club 33 signature dish, Chateaubriand, is to die for. If you go for linch, the appetizers and dessert are buffett too! - mojohito  239.8 #1139 10:04AM
I agree-Plaza Inn. Everything is great! - cinderelli  328.4 #496 12:54PM
Except the green beans. Mediocre is as good as those get. - Slotherini  911.7 #100 1:07PM
My favorite meal is the veggie gumbo at Royal Street Veranda in New Orleans Square. The gumbo is thick and hearty and sits on a bed of rice in a chewy sourdough bowl. Plus- it is completely vegan! - Vegan7LuvsStitch  816.1 #118 8:53PM
Plaza Inn fried chicken, any day. - Mrs.mouse  426.1 #304 8:56PM
Plaza inn fried chicken dinner. You will never taste broasted chicken like this again. 3 large pieces of chicken, green beans, a biscuit, mashed potatoes and gravy. Enough to share but still a great price if you don't. - Linzee  533.3 #218 8:57PM
Plaza inn chicken dinner. The portions are huge,it's delicious, and free refills on drinks with to go cups :) - Madi  204.1 #1614 6:10PM

I agree, the Plaza Inn chicken dinner is great! Lots of chicken, potatoes, beans and a roll. Also, Pizza port is also good. One slice can fill you up. - BaseballMickey_CM  2993.4 #15 6:40PM
Winner winner chicken dinner! Of all the places that are easily accessible, I like the plaza inn chicken. Of course, blue bayou, club 33, and napa rose are great. ๎– - bluefairy  628.8 #175 7:04PM
I agree that Plaza Inn is a great place to go to dinner but for the people who don't like chicken or want pasta, I like the different choices you get for pasta. Plus you get a garlic bread that goes really well with whatever kind of pasta you choice. - disneydramasingar  17.0 #5493 7:04PM
My favorite place to eat dinner is at the blue bayou! I love their braised short ribs and every meal comes with either a salad or gumbo and they are both delicious! Then for desert we always get the creme brรปlรฉe! And you just can't beat the atmosphere, you are in the pirates of the caribbean! - Nesabell  157.7 #2221 7:10PM
Blue bayou. Monte Cristo with the salad. Very tasty...crave it between visits - ToshiStation  54.1 #3725 7:24PM
Blue Bayou. Monte cristo. Not for everyone though. - angryduck  98.7 #3090 7:28PM
I agree 100% with Dahula... Napa Rose is my favorite dinner restaurant - and unfortunately, BB is off my list completely because of the price. If I want to spend $30+ per person, I go to Napa! - msdizmaui  521.5 #226 7:33PM
Blue Bayou Filet Mignon is really good! And of course the potatoes are excellent! - cormierj1  12.0 #6351 7:34PM
I really like the chicken sandwhich with honey mustard at Hungry Bear. I always get it with sweet potato fries. I love the atmosphere too with the river right there. The food is also reasonably - Heather  259.7 #927 7:39PM
Priced (I pushed submit too fast) - Heather  259.7 #927 7:39PM
Okay I'm not going to name just one because I just can't...1. Club 33 because it is an incredible experience (I have only had the chateaubriand so I only have one option for a favorite) 2. Blue Bayou for the atmosphere more than anything 3. Steakhouse 55 (for another great steak dinner) 4. Plaza Inn chicken because it is yummy and affordable (I usually split it with my daughter) And someday soon I hope to add Napa Rose to the list! - ghosthost  323.5 #523 7:40PM

Oh that's easy! Plaza Inn chicken dinner. Yummy. - princessfranki  7.8 #7894 11:31AM
Napa Rose is the best in the area, by far. Sit at the Chef's Counter. If Chef Alex is there, ask if he can put together a tasting menu for you. They don't normally do this, but if you ask nicely and they aren't too busy, they will take care of you. Get the wine pairing too, they have killer wines. This is a total foodie experience. Not cheap, but well worth it if you are a foodie. Probably about $300 for two all included. - Normstar  81.2 #3313 3:46PM

I must repeat what many have already said regarding plaza inn and cafe Orleans, as a semi-budget conscious choice. For those attempting to eat on an even slimmer dime, I have to give a shout out to tortilla joes in dtd. They have a nacho app that fed three of us for dinner for $11.95! Also, following a big lunch, my hubs and I love to get a turkey leg, pickle, and pineapple spear. Really weird combo, but I crave it all year long;) - LittleAprilShowers  500.7 #241 11:27AM
