I just deleted a lot of rude comments on a post that was obviously made with good intentions from a member who has a history of posting Disney related things. This is unacceptable and it needs to stop ASAP. It is ok to joke around with people you already know in the Lounge, but it isn't ok to post sarcastic comments about other people's picture quality or content they post. People like to read comments on their own posts and how would you feel if someone was attacking you for what you were trying to share. If a post is inappropriate then it will be removed, but sarcasm can hurt people, especially people who are new with good intentions and just want to be a part of a Disney related community. Not to mention these kind of comments prevent new people from joining the discussion because they are afraid of being attacked. I shouldn't have to remind anyone about this as it is clear on the RULES page that the attitude of the Lounge should be welcoming and friendly. I have seen so many life long relationships formed here on MouseWait - and these type of rude comments could rob someone of that joy and experience. If you still have a remotely rude comment on that post then use the new Edit and Delete feature and remove it ASAP.

I am very sad for the adults who are gaining so much pleasure from 'policing' an online community based on Disney, and each night they become more self-righteous, bullying (even to the young kids) , rude and unkind. I feel there are some deeper issues going on, and I am disheartened that the rest of us have to have our MW experience tainted by this. I think some people get caught up and forget this is just an ap to get and share info on Disney. They involve their personal lives and get so "addicted" to this app that it becomes their life for real. And when people post negative comments or threads or whatever they take that as an insult on their life and take it personally. My comment wasn't intended to be rude. I just wanted to point out there are germs. That sort of stuff freaks me out. If I offended that person I whole heartedly apologize. However there have been extremely rude comments made to target me and others for a long time. Horrible things were said to me when I was pregnant and yeti was in basic training. Not to mention when Gabriel was born. Were this people reprimanded, NO, maybe because they've been around for a long time? Which doesn't mean they weren't hurtful. They weren't sarcastic remarks but intentional. I just think that if this is going to be a rule it needs to apple to everyone and not some as it has in the past! - PrettyPixie

There is a lot of inside "jokes" and comments that leave a lot of people feeling left out. It's great if many are close friends and have that connection, but they aren't very welcoming when other MWers are ignored. I don't think saying keep it a vacation attitude translates to don't be sarcastic. I'm not trying to be rude but when I think of vacation attitude I think of up beat, no fighting, no attacking just going with the flow. I don't think it's faire to allow certain sarcasm remarks to be allowed and others not. Being jokey amongst friends and having onlookers not understand the sense of humor can still cause offense. Obviously I love this app but the fighting lately is out of control yet happens all the time. Whenever I read people being rude I just have to leave the lounge and its a shame becuase I love to read what everyone is doing. Someone commented something on my picture not sure if they were being rude but seemed like a inside rude comment, made me feel like crap but I just left if because I didn't know what he was talking about sooo if u see a post or picture of mine and u feel the need to be rude please think twice before u comment, I only want positive or helpful feedback.
