When making a peanut butter and jelly toast both sides lightly and butter the side that you put jelly on. Makes a simple snack even tastier. - MayBie  1885.6 #97 4:53PM
I make a pretty mean Artichoke Dip. 1 cup real mayo, 1 cup sour cream, 1 pkg cream of Leek soup mix, 1 clove garlic, 1 can artichoke hearts in water (drained & chopped), 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix all together (add more cheese on top) and bake in a casserole dish @ 350 for 30 min and top is golden brown. Serve w/ pita chips. - CaliCanuck  534.4 #423 4:54PM
English muffins with marinara sauce and a slice of American cheese. Broil for a couple minutes. Yum. Got this from a Disney cookbook yeeeeeears ago. - chrissykins  825.5 #238 4:55PM

Very quick and easy dinner on nights I'm feeling lazy..... boil 2-3 cups of large or small pasta shells (we use whole wheat pasta), boil 2-3 boneless skinless chicken breast (I use 1 chicken breast per cup of pasta -- for anyone needing more of the recipe) once cooked, cube chicken and add to cooked pasta... add 1 sm can of Cream of Mushroom soup, 1 cup shredded cheese (we use cheddar and jack mix), chopped olives (optional and to your preference), pepper.. salt.. and a little bit of garlic powder to taste (we even add red pepper flakes for a little kick). We also add brocoli -- but that's totally optional. If the pasta seems too dry and not creamy enough, add more cream of mushroom. Adjust the recipe to your taste and preference. I don't measure when I cook... at all... unless I'm following a strict recipe... so I tried to guesstimate. Luckily, It's a recipe that really doesn't require much accuracy bc it's all to taste :) - michelledork  696.2 #307 4:59PM

Halve 3 lb tomatoes n squeeze out seeds, chop top off of whole garlic, put all on cookie sheet n spray w/ olive oil. 350 for 30 min. Pour off juice but save and flip tomatoes. 30 more min. Skins ce right off tomatoes. Squeeze out garlic cloves and throw in food processor w/ tomatoes. Add juice to desired thickness and some balsamic. Best tomato sauce ever! - Kendall  10.4 #11312 5:07PM
Here's another one... this one seems super fancy, but its SO simple to cook. Preheat oven to 375. You'll need: Boneless skinless chicken breast, asparagus, mozzarella cheese sticks. Use however many slices of boneless, skinless, chicken breast you'd like....... slice it horizontally down the middle (like cutting a bagel). Peel the mozzarella cheese stick into little pieces, Add 4-5 sticks of asparagus & cheese in between the cut slices of chicken. In a baking dish, put a little bit of chicken broth, white wine, and about 3 tablespoons of butter (enough to cover the bottom of the pan about 3/4 inch). Lay the chicken in the pan, spice the top of the chicken w/ pepper, salt, and some parsley flakes. I also put a little bit of butter on top of the chicken too. Cook until chicken is cooked through (usually 20-30 minutes). I serve with brown rice risotto or some sort of pasta. It looks super fancy and difficult to cook but its so easy and delicious! - michelledork  696.2 #307 5:11PM
Kendall! Sounds so good! I usually make my own pasta sauce too! I'll have to try that way - michelledork  696.2 #307 5:11PM
Strawberry Spinach Salad Ingredients- 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup slivered almonds, 1/2 lb fresh spinach (washed and dried), 1 cup strawberries (hulled and sliced), 1/2 cup feta cheese (crumbled) Dressing- 2/3 cup canola oil, 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/3 cup sugar Instructions- place sugar in heavy saucepan & cook over med heat until melted. Add almonds and continue cooking until mixture is light brown. Remove from heat and immediately pour mixture on alum foil to cool. When cool break mixture into pieces. Combine dressing ingredients in a small container with a tight fitting lid. Shake until well blended. Place spinach, strawberries, feta, and sugared almonds in large salad bowl. Pour dressing over salad and toss lightly. A few tips- a lil dressing goes a long way, try a lil at a time and toss until you have the coverage you want. You can substitute mont jack cheese or mozz cheese for the feta cheese. Also you can buy the over the counter sugared almonds or just use plain slivered or sliced almonds and it's just as good. This is my most requested recipe, hope you enjoy!! - Crazyaboutdisney  504.2 #456 5:37PM

I make some really good sour cream chicken enchiladas. I steam cook 3-4 large boneless skinless breasts. You can boil or put on crock pot just as long as it's shreddable. Once cooked shred the chicken and set aside. Save the broth. Mix in a bowl 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 16 oz container of sour cream and 1 small can of diced green chilis. With a tbsp of the mixture coat the bottom of a rectangular cake pan. Now using the broth, dip six corn tortillas and cover bottom of the pan. Grab your mixture and add the shredded chicken and mix well. Add half of the mixture and top with cheese. Repeat layer using 6 more tortillas and the mixture and top with cheese. Bake on 425 for about 20 as long as cheese melted. They are so good! Enjoy. Oh and you can top with sliced green onions if you want and season the chicken with salt pepper andgarlic prior to cooking. - DizGeek  453.7 #516 5:47PM
Super simple but yummy pasta. For two people: 1/2 package of whole grain fettucine noodles (u can actually use whatever pasta u like, shells work good too), 1 jar of Ragu cheesy garlic sauce (it's white), 1 bundle of asparagus (u can also use broc), 1 tomato, about 6 slices bacon. Boil the pasta, steam the asparagus (after cut into small pieces), cook the bacon however u like just make sure it's crispy. Add the sauce and asp. together in saucepan to heat, pour over noodles. Chop up tomato and crumble bacon, sprinkle on top. Pieces of grilled chicken is also great to add if you have it :) - RickeyCalifornia  158.1 #2667 5:56PM
Sometimes the bacon is really salty so u don't have to add anything but if it tastes a little bland to you, garlic salt works best! - RickeyCalifornia  158.1 #2667 6:00PM
I like this post. - michelledork  696.2 #307 7:05PM
Spread pizza sauce on a piece of pita bread, top with mozzarella cheese and whatever pizza toppings you want, I use olives and mushrooms, bake for 10 min at 425 degrees.. Homemade personal pizzas and pretty low calorie - KelBelle  453.2 #517 7:14PM
Crock Pot put frozen chicken ( I use breasts 2-4) in cover with salsa leave on high for 4 hours. When chicken is done you can it for soup, enchildas, tacos, burritos. If you like your chicken spicy then use hot salsa. - Dizkid  503.8 #457 7:16PM
Fry some bacon (or prosciutto, etc) and throw in some pieces of fresh asparagus, broccolini, baby spinach and plenty of crushed fresh garlic. Add some pitted kalamata olives and toss through some hot pasta with plenty of EVOO and Parmesan cheese. Great summer pasta dish. - BLG  1048.9 #191 7:19PM

Dinner... hmmm well how about desert!! You will need 2 packages Hawaiian sweet rolls (Enough to cover the entire pan) 1 pound butter (real butter) 1 pound brown sugar, 2-3 ripe bananas.(Pre heat over to 350 degrees) Take you sweet rolls and cut them in half, line the pan with the bottom half of your sweet rolls and set the tops to the side. Peel and slice the bananas, in a large (frying pan) combine 1/2 pound butter, 1/2 pound brown sugar and the sliced bananas. Cook over medium heat and stir constantly. Now once the you see the butter and brown sugar combine but before it starts to bubble you need to remove it from the heat and pour it over the bottom halves of your sweet rolls you have lined in the pan. Now take the tops of the sweet rolls you have set aside and place them on top. Combine the remainder of your butter and brown sugar in your frying pan and melt on medium heat. Just like before remove it before it starts to bubble to much. Pour it evenly over the top of the sweet roll tops in your pan. Place the pan in your oven at 350 degrees for 10-15mins (or in tell the tops are just starting to get a nice brown shine to them). Remove and let sit for 5mins, plate and server with Vanilla bean ice cream! and ENJOY!! This is my recipe for Banana sweet buns! :-) - Sam241  475.6 #483 7:31PM
* sorry 9x13 baking pan lol - Sam241  475.6 #483 7:32PM
@MB... then use a Mickey cookie cutter to shape your PB&J and make it Disney inspired!! *o* - wicked50  102.2 #3656 7:37PM
@Sam - I've seen a lot of recipes with sweet rolls, but never this! This sounds awesome - and so good to take to pot-lucks. Mahalo! - msdizmaui  845.0 #234 7:46PM
Yeah I invinted this thanks to working with access to a kitchen, having cooks that loved my cooking (Even though I wasn't a cook) and the fact that we served our sliders on sweet rolls so we always had extra ones on the verge of being stale lol I hope you enjoy it, it has to be severed hot though or it's not the same. You can also make a sauce for the top with- 1/2 quart heavy whipping cream, 3 cups sugar, and two table spoons cinnamon. Combine in a pot over high heat, whisk together and let simmer for 15-20mins to reduce. Once it cools down it will be thicken and taste really good. It's a sweet cream cinnamon sauce (Might be other ways to make it but that's how I do it lol). - Sam241  475.6 #483 7:57PM
Ya Sam keep um coming this sounds yummy and I will be trying it, so did ur cinnamon apples that u posted a while back. - LAHaPpY13420  43.0 #5288 7:57PM
I was thinking of serving it with cool whip (too lazy to make my own). this would also be cool for brunch - fruit and rolls - that's breakfast food in my book! - msdizmaui  845.0 #234 8:02PM
@Sam... Can't wait to try your recipe! Wish I could've had it to take to our Easter potluck, but next time for sure!! Thanks!!! - wicked50  102.2 #3656 8:04PM
Welcome I hope you enjoy it! I'm not a exact science type of cook so tweak it to your liking it's not going to hurt it any lol It's all about having fun and combing things in a simple way in my book :-) - Sam241  475.6 #483 8:06PM
These all look so yummy! @Sam- I am so bummed we just finished our Hawaiian rolls otherwise I'd make those right this second. It's sorta like banana fosters (minus the liquor of course). Yum yum for my tum tum! - Jewelz  557.9 #396 8:10PM
My kids call these Spaghetti Sandwiches even though there is absolutely no pasta. Lol! Get a loaf of french bread and slice it long ways. You want the bottom half to be thicker than the top. Dig the middle out of both sides so you have two long bread boats. Fill the bottom half with shredded Mozzerella cheese. Brown 1lb of ground beef and drain the grease. Mix a jar to two of Pizza Sauce in with the ground beef and heat it up in the skillet. Pour the meat sauce mixture in te bottom half over the mozerella cheese. Then cover the meat sauce mixture with another layer of mozerella cheese. Put the top piece of bread on so it looks like a huge sandwich. Wrap the whole thing in aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 25 mins. Remove from oven and let sit for five mins. Slice like french bread and ENJOY! - Mrsblue  693.1 #309 9:22PM
Top sirloin cut into 1" pieces, put 3 pieces on a pre-soaked skewers, cook 3 min on each side. Remove from grill. Brush with Korean BBQ sauce. Now you have Bengal Beef skewers! Enjoy - CMsMom  446.7 #526 9:34PM
Marinate one (pounded thin) chicken breast with a quarter cup of Italian dressing and clove of garlic for about 30 min or up to a few hours. Cook with dressing in a sauce pan. I serve it with brown rice and salad. Perfect for my fellow college students out there who are short on time and money! - Neverland31  21.3 #7467 9:38PM
Stuffed bell peppers vegetarian (or ground turkey meat for the non veggies). Two green bell peppers per person. Broccoli rice from rice r roni, and meat of choice (veggies use mormingstar crumbles). cook meat (1/2 pound per 5"4 bell peppers) and rice seperately, cut out center of bell peppers. Once cooked Mix rice and meat together, stuff inside bell peppers and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or longer if you like the bell pepper softer. - PrettyPixie  760.3 #271 9:42PM
Thanks pixie! I've been wanting a good recipe for that! - Tataandbeyond  83.9 #3997 9:49PM
Oh I forgot Taco seasoning! It's for the meat! If you use veggie crumbles only put two table spoons of water with the seasoning. - PrettyPixie  760.3 #271 10:19PM
My family loves French bread pizza... 1 loaf of French bread, sliced long ways, put both halfs on a cookie sheet, spear pizza sauce on both sides and top with favorite pizza toppings. Once the zucchini is tender throw in about 3/4 can of corn and cook fir an addt'l 2 min. Remove from heat and top with some shredded Monterey jack cheese. - chsrkat77  244.0 #1497 10:09AM

Disneyland unFORECAST (BETA) is here! Top MouseWaiters giving you the rundown of what's happening at the Disneyland Resort. The unFORECAST now has its own page on the web www.unFORECAST.com

unFORECAST for the month of June 2016
Last month (May) seemed to be quieter than last year, probably because the 60th Celebration began last May, making last summer a lot busier. Looking back at MouseWait's Historical Crowd Index (available in our MagicPlan iOS Calendar), crowds averaged in the mid 80s (approx 85% capacity) for the first two weeks of June, then it quieted down in the last two weeks of the month. We are estimating smaller crowds than last summer because the 60th Celebration is over a year old, and there are still a lot of attractions being refurbished. To get a real-time look at crowd levels, check the MouseWait App for Crowd Index averages and wait times. Have a great week! - Admin Jun 3, 2016 12:07PM

We have always noticed that Saturdays are better than Sundays! We always come on the weekend and say we want to leave at dinner time on Sunday, but always leave by 11-12 because there are so many people. We love Saturday!! - 1Princess3Princes  643.7 #335 5:39PM
I agree. I think it has to do with most passes being blocked - PoohSizedGuy  20.6 #7583 11:53PM

I love these posts!  I do have a question/request/suggestion...is there a way to only show the 3-4 most recent posts?  It's a lot to scroll through. @@Admin - TiggersAndTinks  183.5 #2289 5:08AM

There was nobody there last week on Saturday loved it Hope it's the same this week  - jkobelski  21.2 #0 9:48PM
August 17 - It was still crowded yesterday, though it starts emptying out about 9 pm since some schools are in session and others are watching PTN. These are your last week's to watch PTN and the current WOC, and the 60th fireworks nightly show. Take advantage on a weeknight if you can. And on week nights, the jazz band plays several sets up until 10:15 pm on the Matk Twain and alternate with sets while cruising the ROA on a tom sawyers raft. We saw the band on the river at 10:40 Tuesday night. Market house is closed at night for coffee, the closest coffee after park hours is Starbucks DD/ WOD. or coffee bean in Haggen Dazs DD   ice cream  store till midnight.  - secretagentangel  7930.1 #12 1:41PM

I don't understand why it was changed in the first place. The area was closed down and rebranded as Grizzly Peak Airfield to be more cohesive with the "California" theme of the park and then they change the ride from Soarin Over California; which is sticking pretty close to the theme of the park; to Soarin Over The World? It just doesn't make sense to me. I understand updating the video itself, which is what I wish they had done.  - 1HitchhikingGhost  292.9 #1022 7:03PM
