Daily Exercise Accountability Log (DEAL). Let's start a daily post of the exercise we did that day. Even though a once a week Weigh-In is a helpful motivation, perhaps a daily log of what we did to burn those calories and get fit might get us to move more! Who is up for the challenge?!

Camp24 at the gym this morning then 30min walk/jog on treadmill. Wasn't feeling so great this morning so I treated myself to a nap as reward for working out :) - futureprincess  9.9 #12371 9:17PM
9.29 miles jogging this morning:) I think I may need need a walker now though...my legs aren't working anymore. Lol - supertracy  471.9 #528 7:23PM
You are so inspiring to a newbie like me! - D55CR  249.9 #1487 12:10PM
Took 2 days rest after the killer workout Saturday - today (1/17) 5 miles (1.5 running - 3.5 fast walking).  The distance is getting easier, but the running is really hard - can't get my breathing under control - for you runners out there - any tips that can help me out with this? - princessSue  270.7 #1293 6:03PM
this might sound totally random but try not to think about it so much. Try to do it naturally. I have noticed at least inmyself once I start thinking about "breathing" I start to breath all crazy and then it turns into huff and puffing. Compared to if I get lost in my moment (running outside i find this easier to get lost in my thoughts) i breath naturally. ALso I have noticed that if I focus on the stride and make them less big and more under myself that I have a easier time with the breathing. - BooEve123  800.9 #279 12:26PM
Running to a good beat and focusing in my stride helps my breathing stay natural. If I focus too much on my breathing specifically, I get all anxious and "off" - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.5 #329 12:57PM
1/18: walked outside 1.5m in the melting snow (mostly gone now) with my dog. I find I am actually looking forward to walking everyday, and am adjusting my schedule to make sure I have time to walk. (I am not committed enough to get up earlier in the morning, though. Maybe when it's lighter earlier.) Also, when I do my daily rounds at the hospital, I have been parking two floors above the walkway so I have to do some stairs coming and going. It probably sounds stupid, but for me, the consistency and change of attitude is a BIG change- even if it's only been 19 days. - PrincessKristin  780.8 #291 4:56PM
Sorry for writing a book. I'll try to keep it brief from now on! - PrincessKristin  780.8 #291 4:58PM
That's great! Keep it up! If you can walk in melting snow then it can only get easier when the weather gets better:). - supertracy  471.9 #528 5:02PM
1/23 10 min bike, 10 mins elliptical , 10 mins tread - BooEve123  800.9 #279 11:59PM
I've been wanting to start this for a while because of my own lack of desire to do some form of exercise on a daily basis. So even if it is just a walk around the block, at least I got my walking shoes on!!! Plus, it would be nice to get ideas and inspiration from others of different ways to exercise.... - DesperateMousewife  877.7 #252 8:24AM
I am addicted to the elliptical at my gym. I have a bad knee so sometimes the impact of the treadmill hurts. If it wasn't for the gym I'd never exercise so I know how you feel! But this is a good idea! It helps a lot having motivation from others!  - AlishaSkellington  175.5 #2467 8:43AM
Santa brought me one and I love that thing! I pick an episode to watch on the ipad and go to town - 415beachgirl  475.6 #522 9:38PM
I LOVE that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pic! OK so you need to come over and do the Insanity DVDs with me in my garage! ugh so hard. :) - PinkyMouse  82.0 #4150 10:03AM
I'm up for this. Although you might get bored with my lack of creativity. Mainly I walk during my lunch hour at work. It helps me relieve stress at the same time. - Tinkaboudit  2461.5 #73 11:19AM
I walk a lot, I try to add other exercises into my day. Yesterday I turned in my iPod and rocked out while doing the dishes. - Mrs.mouse  543.6 #436 12:34PM
Just finished doing an hour of Yoga at 24 Hour fitness. Have never been to this class. Felt more like just stretching, didn't even break a sweat. Hope it still burned some calories?!! - DesperateMousewife  877.7 #252 12:38PM
I just got (and did) Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 and it kicked my butt. Sweating hard. - miss_rachel  120.3 #3406 5:03PM

4/4: kettlebells and elliptical - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.5 #329 7:59PM
I've been hesitant to participate here because then I'll be accountable to follow through...ha! How silly is THAT!? So anyway, I'm going to walk to work this morning and hit the gym for a circuit workout after work. There...I said it so now I have to do it. lol - vernswifevickie  400.5 #643 6:40AM

I'm with you. I have not done any exercise for 3 days (blame it on TOM) and feel like blah....blech....blob.... - DesperateMousewife  877.7 #252 12:56PM
4/9: kettlebells & pilates; 4/10: hike with Hubby and my Dug; 4/11: 40 mins on elliptical. Less than an hour per day, but some is better than nothing, right? I'm having a hard time getting motivated, too. It helps to focus on how my body actually feels when I'm done, rather than what it looks like or how much I weigh. I feel a million times better than I did a year ago, even though I weigh about the same. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.5 #329 5:34PM

Will be doing 6 miles when i get home.  - BooEve123  800.9 #279 4:30PM
this might sound totally random but try not to think about it so much.
Sorry for writing a book. I'll try to keep it brief from now on! - PrincessKristin  780.8 #291 4:58PM

Get a quick overview of the new features in MouseWait 9 for iOS, our biggest update since 2009! Get the free version here, or upgrade to Platinum here

Just installed the MW app on my new phone yesterday. This will be very helpful for me since I am used to the android version. Thank you. - teapotsandteacups  5163.0 #30 11:41PM
I've had a lot of trouble with platinum version. It seems to "magically" close itself at random times. The most common random closes are: after updating ride or food times, after clicking on a different feature in the app, or immediately after opening. I generally have to re-open it 2-3 times, at which point it stays open until I've made my update, but if I stop using it for more than 5 minutes and go back to it I have to go through the magical closings again. πŸ˜“ - Mouse28  946.2 #235 9:06AM
I never had that issue with the free version.  - Mouse28  946.2 #235 9:06AM
