Haven't seen these before! These little slips were being handed out at the gates today. Helpful "busy day" tips such as visiting theater attractions for shorter wait times and NOT leaving immediately after fireworks! Great tips to help get you through the high-traffic moments that clog up your day at the resort! I'd add "Please don't have your family meeting in the middle of the walkway." (and don't feel free to comment with your pet peeves.) (also, yes, I realize how ugly my kitchen counter is.)

✨Character tip! If anyone is looking to get pics with Minnie, there is a photo op with her in her Fly Girls outfit by the plane in DCA. Every time we went by yesterday the line was really short! We got some great pics!!

✨Helpful tip!! I have seen many posts lately asking where to find princesses in the park. As the mommy of 2 little girls we spend a lot of time looking. A great place to find Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Aurora,and Snow White is the princess lunch at Ariel's Grotto. This is an amazing character dining experience!! Snow White can often be found near her wishing well. We have seen Ariel, Aurora, And Cinderella several times to the left of the castle. Rapunzel has her own meet and greet near the exit of Pinochio in Fantasyland. Jasmine can often be seen outside the Oasis by the exit to the Tiki Room. Princess Fantasy Faire has several meet and greet opportunities, as well as chances to dance and interact with the princesses. Soundsational parade and Fantasmic feature an opportunity to view the princesses as well!! Hope this helps! Happy princess hunting!!
Royal coranation (sp? Don't slaughter me) is my favorite place, they do a show teach you a dance, then you get to dance with the princesses, then they come out for meet and greets. Always 3 princesses either snow white, aurora, belle or Cinderella! - akpoppins

Just found out that the electric car chargers are in at the Grand Californian and Disneyland hotels. At the GC you need to valet to use them. Also they are now in the Mickey and friends lot.
FAKE PIN SPOTTING: from DCA CM lanyards today, STARWARS. Frame 1) the real han on has blue eyes, darker hair, and stripes on the pants that look slightly less pink or more red. Frame 2) donald han has a pit in his neck that is really not notaceable unless you are looking for pitting. Frame 3) the real jedi mickeys face is a more lively pinkish color, the detail inside his lightsaber blade is more brilliant and 3 dimensional looking and the detail on the hilt just above his hand is smaller. Frame 4) the real pin is on the right and if I were only shown the back, I might choose the wrong one lol! They are totally different!!! In frame 5 & 6) we see different spacing between the face and lightsaber, and a very gross looking pit right in the fake mickeys eye! Also a shinier more even texture on the real pin. Im not sure the false mickey isnt just a scrapper rather than a counterfeit because I dont know enough about what a scrapper really is, but its not what you buy in the store thats for sure. Ive seen more than a few bogus SW pins lately so watch out if you care to! Happy trading MWers!

If you like reading posts in order, click on Sort by Time - it sorts the Lounge by the time of the post. You can always return to the Default view whenever you want. Sort by Time is great for seeing what is happening live at the Parks and it is a much slower pace.
MICKEY'S Halloween Party 2011- So here's what you can expect. Some of these things are the same from last year and some are new. Disneyland Park will be open like a normal day for guests. Those with a Mickey's Halloween Party ticket can enter the park up to 3 hours prior to the event start. When a guest with a Mickey's Halloween Party ticket enters the park, they will be given three things : 1) a colored wristband (this MUST be worn all night), 2) a Mickey's Halloween Party Trick-or-Treat bag and 3) a special edition Mickey's Halloween Party Park Map (these will be different than the regular Halloween Time one). Also, if you are in the park during the regular day, you can also pick up those three items at the Plaza Gardens. During this time, in the park, there will be guests that are there for the regular day and those with the Mickey's Halloween Party ticket, which will be called the mix-in time. Those who do not have a wristband will be asked to leave the park right around 7pm. If they would like to purchase a Mickey's Halloween Party ticket, they can go to the Plaza Gardens and they can purchase them there. ATTRACTIONS- every attraction will be open, with the exception of POTC, the Monorail and IASW (closing 10/23 for Christmas overlay). The feature attractions will be Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. STORES: all of the stores will be open like usual with Main Street closing one hour after park closing. PARADE: Mickey's Halloween Cavalcade will march down at 8:30pm and 10:30pm, following the normal parade route. FIREWORKS: the very popular and highly praised Halloween Screams Fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30pm. CHARACTERS- For the event, there will be 11 character meet and greet locations, featuring the Disney Villains by IASW, Phineas and Ferb (and maybe a surprise) at the Plaza Gardens (their DL premiere), Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Mr. Smee and Captain Jack near the Ferry Boat Landing,, Aladdin and Jasmine at Aladdin's Oasis and Duffy on Main Street USA (his DL premiere). FOOD: Most restaurants and quick-service restaurants will be open. Cafe Orleans will be featuring a special menu and desserts. ENTERTAINMENT- there will be two dance clubs, one named Buzz Lightyear Intergalactic Space Jam, located at TLT, and the new Piratepalooza at Rancho Del Zocalo in Frontierland (this one replaced the one that was at the French Market). Also, check out all of the Halloween decor featuring the special Ghost Mickeys and the Live Scarecrows in the Hub area. And, TREATS: there will a total of 13 Trick-or-Treat trails scattered around the park (with the exception of ToonTown). Here guests will have the opportunity to have a unique trick-or-treat experience. A tip: to find the start of the trail, look for the giant while Mickey ghost. Note regarding costumes, every guest's eyes must be visible at all times. And, please, if you see any guest that is wearing a costume that is considered inappropriate for this family event, please notify a CM and/or a security CM immediately. We truly want our guests to get into the Halloween spirit the Disney way. Well, I think I covered everything and I hope this helps everyone and Happy Halloween!! (And DCA will close at 10pm) ~Remaining dates: October 31 (Halloween night)!

#TIP BUZZ HIGH SCORE - Hope this one is a little easier to understand and easier to find. Here are my tips for Buzz. In order go for triangles, diamond and squares. Circles are only worth 100 so I don't bother. In the first room there are triangles on the back of the robots hands diamonds on the front. At the end of the row of batteries there is a diamond on the wall. #ZURG SECRET On the black lapel of the first Zurg there is a stripe in the middle. In the middle of the stripe there is a black circle that is worth 50k. After Zurg there is a triangle on the back of the rotating target diamond on the front. If the jack-in-the-box is not already up hit the square target next to it. If you hit the diamond on the jack-in-the box a triangle target come up. Next room has a triangle up high in the middle, diamond on the swinging target. Hit the diamond targets in the dark room. Triangle target on Zurgs shoulder. Smile for the photo. There is a pop up triangle on your left in the middle. Hit the circle target to get the pop up triangle. There is also diamond target up high when you enter and another on the back wall. You can tell if you are hitting targets when the back of your gun flashes green. Bonus tip #CART 29 scores triple points in the left hand seat. Have fun and remember your mission - To defeat the evil Emperor Zurg!!

Mlle. Antoinette's Parfumerie in NOS is gorgeous! It re-opened a few weeks ago. Some history behind it was that it was originally a parfumerie because Lillian wanted one there. Then over the years it changed to other shops. Now it is back to it's original design. The painted mirrors were painted from the same set designers from Gone With the Wind. The chandelier is one of the last items Walt purchased before he became ill. The fragrance Dance by Givenchy is created and exclusive only to DL & WDW. A pleasant little gem to visit in NOS!
