This is what I did with my captains certificate from the Mark Twain. If you have never done it you might want to ask about going up in the wheelhouse to drive the Mark Twain. I've been to Disneyland well over 100 times and tell recently didn't know that you could do that. It was quite a neat experience I highly suggest it.
They withheld my certificate cuz I failed the written exam. - Mouse4life

Both of my boys got one when we did it. The CM was great. He let one of them steer and ring the bell during the 1st half and the other got to do it the 2nd half...no fighting! We got to sign the guest book and they each got a certificate. It was so much fun. - goofymom2boys

A highlight of this trip was our time spent in the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain. Understanding the history of this great ship and Walt's love for it we especially appreciated the experience. I loved imagining her maiden voyage on the RoA with Walt at the helm for their anniversary party days before the park opened. And Louis Armstrong, and other people enjoying this same pleasure. I want to thank our MW family for all of the tips, making our trip so full of amazing memories. We did so many special things, like riding in the wheelhouse of The Mark Twain, we got to meet Maynard, met the President of DLR, rode in the Lilly Belle, and so much more. Also want to thank MightyWhitey for making my 1st real family vacation with my kids so memorable. I love you with all my heart!
