Walk In Walt's Footsteps important information: The Park doesn't open till 9 AM on Sunday, however if you reserved a spot in the tour they will let you in early at the front gate. Just tell them you're with the MouseWait Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour and arrive at 8:15 AM or earlier. Yes, most of the pins that come in "lots" on ebay are mostly fakes. The best way to start is buying any of the starter packs that come with 7 pins. Best for your dollar. - BaseballMickey_CM

I get mine off eBay all the time so far haven't ran into any fake ones the ones they send u aren't all that great though but that's the joy of trading with cast members and get awesome ones! I love my collection now that u don't trade any more - stephNkevin13

I haven't had any problems trading with cast members and other pin traders I've met at the parks have told me they got theirs off eBay too. I only recommend buying off eBay if u do plan on trading if ur not plannin on trading buy the ones in the park - stephNkevin13 3.6 #16355 10:53PM
I am a pin junkie. I love to buy mystery packs in the pack and trade them to get full collections. I watch which pins are coming out and make a point to try and get to the parks for those special pins. I've received pins from very generous, dear people. The collecting part, for me, is the most wonderful part of the journey :) - MrsMears

It's really hard sometimes to spot a fake pin. I learned a few quick tips from the writer of the how to spot fake pins book and even when he showed me what to look for it was still hard to tell the difference. What I usually do is go to the disney store outlet and buy a few clearance pins and then take them to trade. - Philliprocks

Story time: my daughter was heavily into this movie when she was 3. We decided to go to Muir Beach (San Francisco) one day, it was about 50 degrees and super windy. She sets foot on the sand, sees the ocean and says 'hey guys, wanna watch me surf?'. We had to explain to her there is no surfing at that beach and it was freezing. She was not pleased.
