Desserts at Ariel's Grotto. They have made a change since our visit in November. Now each guest gets their own plate with three yummy treats. A mini Creme brûlée, a delicious s'mores styled treat and a chocolate dipped strawberry. All very delicious. I've also included a shot of the s'mores treat on its side, and my birthday cupcake. All delicious, but the s'mores was my favorite.
#Food Clarabelles was on point with this DELISH hand dipped ice cream bar. Dark chocolate ice cream, dark chocolate dipped with "The Whole Herd" on top (chocolate chips, sprinkles, and blue raspberry pop rocks) oh mylanta was this amaze balls!!!

French Market, Shrimp & sweet corn fritters with jicama cole slaw, $12.99 before discount, limited time Mardi Gras menu item. The fritters had a decent amount of shrimp, sweet corn, the cornmeal was tasty, and they are fried. I REALLY liked these. There was a richness to them that was balanced out by the grapes & the slaw. The cole slaw was not a traditional mayo slaw, but a vinegar slaw with More...
Mardu Gras cupcake at French Market, $5.99 before discount. Red velvet cake, I could easily taste the cocoa in it, the cake was moist & fluffy, all in all, a good cupcake. The icing is the whipped sugar stuff that I'm not a fan of, so I made Chris eat most of that. Sprinkles, edible gold leaf confetti, white chocolate swirl painted with green chocolate paint, an topped off with a white chocolat More...
Guadalajara Burrito from Rancho del Zocalo. $10.99 before AP discount. Rice & beans were average restaurant fair, not bad, just sorta there (there is an option for sautéed veggies, may try that next time). Burrito is filled with carnitas (marinated pork for the non So Cal natives), MORE rice & beans & covered in a tomatillo (green) sauce. The tomatillo sauce was pretty good, very good if you More...
it was my first time eating at the fortune cookie and I loved the food. I ordered the spicy Korean beef and a hot tea and was expecting something like Jasmine tea or green tea. I got English breakfast tea instead. not what I was expecting. regardless, the food was delicious. just wish they had green tea or something other than English breakfast tea...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
