My goals for today are to weigh myself and to get some exercise in. I just bought a scale yesterday. The scale is my enemy. I avoid it. I need to know where I am to know where I need to be.
I have issues with the scale. If I have one in the house I tend to obsess. But I need to be accountable. So the weigh in at weight watchers is crucial for me. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 1:38PM
I have a home scale and try to only step on it on Fridays for my weekly weigh I'm for ww, but sometimes I cheat. It's amazing how much my weight can fluctuate from day to day so a weekly weigh in is much better for me. - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 6:43PM

We're on our way to Disneyland. My goal is to stay on plan :)
Anytime Disneyland is part of the plan is a good way to start. I hope you have a great day. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 9:22AM
Thank you!! So far, so good. Except my toe isn't going to hold outing longer. Going to rent a wheelchair soon - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 1:39PM

Today's daily goal! I want to take my kids to the park today. I know it's a silly goal, but I struggle with it. Set a goal for yourself!

I just got a Jawbone Up (the company sent the managers all a demo one for free!), Does anyone else have one? I've been using the UP app with it, but know that it syncs to others. Anyone have any suggestions?
(Googles Jawbone Up), I know nothing about it, but it looks really cool. I hope you like it. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 8:15AM
How do you like it? I've been wanting something that helps me track actual calories burned when I workout but everything I like had monthly fees :( - ElectricMayhemMom 312.3 #549 9:48AM
It's pretty cool so far. The walking part seems pretty accurate, especially since you really never take it off - even when you shower - so it's tracking EVERY step you take (I've been averaging about 12,000 per day). Entering food is easy - I can actually scan all my Jenny Craig stuff, and enter (by searching in the categories) everything else. I thought the sleep tracker part would freak me out, but oddly enough, I find it fascinating to see how I slept! I'm just using the Up app, but I think on my day off, I'll experiment with some of the other apps (My Fitness Pal, Lose It). All in all, I do like it! - msdizmaui 519.0 #224 1:47AM
That sounds a lot like my FitBit. Isn't it motivating? Glad you like it. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 4:54AM

Today's goal is a big one for me. It's my enemy. No food after dinner. I am allowed my night smoothie. No late night snacking. I am so enjoying hearing others share their goals. Thanks!
I did it! I told myself no and stuck to it. No snacking after dinner. Feeling successful. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 2:44AM
My goal is a simple one....to stay within my points allowance. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 8:23AM
My goal is to do a late workout. I like to workout in the morning but today not able to because of Hospital runs. I want to make sure I workout after I pick my daughter up from school. I struggle with doing it when I don't do it right away, so this will be a challenge. - ElectricMayhemMom 312.3 #549 9:41AM
I have a hard time with late workouts too. I like doing it early in the morning and it just throws me off when I can't do it then. Wishing you good success with your goal! - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 12:34PM
Sadly I forgot to make a goal for myself today. I hope everyone did well with theirs. - Duchess73 294.1 #644 11:34PM

I'm a little bummed. It seems whenever I start to get in my groove, something tries to shake me. After an entire month of workout (4-5 per week)and healthier eating, I dropped about 3lbs. Then last week, life insisted that I only get one workout in for the week. This week I've done two workouts, today would have been three but lovely tendonitis in my right heal makes even walking uncomfortable More...
I'm sorry you are having a hard week. We've all be there. Keep your head up. Things will balance out again. Hang in there. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 9:28PM

Morning all, haven't visited C33 in a while. Like I've done too many times started to gain some weight back. But I'm back on plan and working out hard. Have taken off 7lbs in a little less than 2 weeks. Eating lots of fruits and veggies. I also have had a crazy month. My father has been in the hospital since 4/23. It was initially for pancreatitis. He got to come home for 4 days and then we ended More...
Oh goodness!! You have a lot on your plate!! I'm very sorry that your dad is having such a rough time. It's so stressful and heartbreaking to have a sick family member. (((Hugs))) Good job getting back on track and way to go with the weight loss!! I need to get fully back on track myself. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 7:09AM
Oh wow. You have a lot to balance for sure. The fact that you have all of that to deal with and are losing weight is remarkable. I'm sorry about your Dad, praying that he gets better. We are here to support you. Hugs. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 8:11AM

Today's goal is no fast food as I'm taking my daughter to a dr appointment an hour away. We are gone for about 3 hours total (we do this 2x a week for her treatments). If all goes well we will only need to go 1x a week! I'm allowing myself to get a drink, but no food. Also, I want to continue with my goal of fruit and/or veggies at every meal. This has been quite successful this week. I'm loving More...
My goal for today is to run for the hour that my daughter is in dance class while I'm waiting for mine to start. Going to head upstairs to change clothes in a moment... - Duchess73 294.1 #644 5:12PM
I did it! Now if I could add more exercise to my day. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 6:13PM

Aaaaack!!! We are about 2 weeks out from the Rock & Roll and I'm pretty sure I broke my toe this morning! I tripped over one of our bags in out Motel room as we were packing up. It's purple and painful....it looks like no Rock & Roll for me. I'm pretty bummed about it :(
Oh no. I'm sorry. I hope you didn't break your toe. I hope you're able to put your feet up, ice your toe and take it easy. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 6:44PM
Ouch! So sorry to hear it! Take it easy and I hope you have a smooth and swift recovery. - Duchess73 294.1 #644 6:45PM
Haha! My sister did my pedi for me before we left for the weekend! I'm going to the doctor at noon today. I think it's only a broken toe but I'm having it checked out just to be sure. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 8:57AM
So...the good news is that nothing is broken. It's all bruising and soft tissue injury. He said its similar to the sprain that happens when you twist and roll your ankle...except its my toe. They buddy taped it and gave me a boot to wear. He said no running at all for at least a week and then I can MAYBE start back at about 10% of what I usually do and work up from there. So, no Rock & Roll :( But it should heal with no lasting damage. It sure does hurt...lol - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 8:22PM
Hang in there. This is a real testament to how far you've come. Not too long ago you would have been thrilled to have a reason to not run. Look at you now! You are amazing. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 8:55PM
Glad you are ok. Can you bicycle instead like a light workout? - Plumiegirl 3378.1 #10 9:23PM
Glad to hear it isn't broken! Sorry you won't make it to the Rock & Roll, but we'll be here to cheer you on your next adventure! - Duchess73 294.1 #644 9:26PM
Thank you!! Plumie, he said to try and rest it and do nothing much at all for a week. Then he suggested biking or the eliptical to keep up my cardio while I ease back into running. I still have a gym membership that I never use because I'd rather run ....lol....looks like I'll be hitting the eliptical there next week. - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 6:54AM
Glad to hear its not broken, but I'm sorry about the Rock and Roll Half. There's always next time :) Have you ever thought of swimming? My husband swam and coached competitive (US Masters) swimming for years, and it's an excellent complement to running because it's such great cardio but non-impact. Just an idea! Glad to hear there won't be lasting damage! - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 8:12AM

Happy Tuesday. I carefully considered my goal for today. I want to tell myself "no" and follow through. Such as, no you don't need to eat a bowl of Mac and cheese as a midnight snack, an apple is a better choice. I struggle with that.
I did achieve my goal. I told myself "no fast food". I had errands to run and didn't want to stop for lunch. Instead I stopped for a drink and ate when I got home. I also went on a walk. It's been a good day. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 8:54PM
I love this idea of a daily goal!! Mine today is to not eat as a comfort over my disappointment about hurting my foot two weeks before the Rock & Roll Half :( - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 8:59AM
I do that too; hope it worked out for you today, and I hope your toe is healing well. - Duchess73 294.1 #644 8:26PM
I did not achieve my goal today... I knew I was going to pick up Nothing Bundt Cake buntini's for a meeting tomorrow, and they always have samples out. My goal was to get in and out without taking a sample (it is a no-no what with the no grain thing)... I thought I would make it until the sweet gal behind the counter offered me a sample while I was waiting for my order and before I even thought about it, the sample was in my belly. I'll do better tomorrow. Hope you achieved yours today Mrs.mouse! - Duchess73 294.1 #644 8:25PM
I say no to a lot of things. Samples and food from the food pushers at work. I assume that unless I know who/ when the food/sample was put out - it is likely "suspect" meaning it might have germs on it from others touching it. It's extreme but if I convince myself it might be contaminated it's easier to say no. I also think about how much more I can get on my plate with a different choice. I need to get my weight down due to age and trying to lower my blood pressure so it is easier to say no out of health fears. Remind yourself that eating clean ( within your diet ) will get you to goal faster. I like the quote by Kim Benson - what you eat in private is what you wear in public. - Plumiegirl 3378.1 #10 9:06PM

Hello Chub33! I'm thinking about starting a weekly meet up to walk the circuit. Would anyone be interested? Mama needs to lose some baby weight!
I would love to walk with you but you'd be done by the time I can get there (I need to lose the baby weight also...and my baby just turned 32!). - msdizmaui 519.0 #224 2:09PM
Lol! Love your comment. I totally feel I'm in that same boat. My mini is 5, still figuring out how to lose the baby weight. - pinkmonkeys 321.8 #517 3:52PM
Is it still considered baby weight if you child is no longer a baby? - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 6:42PM

So my goal for today is to not give in to my emotions. Long story short, my insurance had some kind if glitch and I can't pick up my Zoloft. I'm out of pills and coming off of them is very dangerous. The pharmacy is trying to get me an emergency supply until its sorted out. I've been out for a few days. Tell us about your goals for today!
Sorry to hear it, hope things get straightened out quickly! I missed my morning walk, so my goal for today is to make time to get one in before bed. - Duchess73 294.1 #644 4:56PM
Thanks. I hope you are able to go on a walk tonight. - Mrs.mouse 420.9 #306 7:51PM
Unfortunately I did not make my goal yesterday. - Duchess73 294.1 #644 6:46PM
I had that some problem. My doctor gave me Zoloft after littlelost was born for my postpartum and there was a mix up with my refill. It took almost a week to get my pills. Needless to say it was a rough week. - lostgirl7988 541.6 #208 9:31PM
I hope they got it straightened out for you. I used to be on Zoloft. (((Hugs))) - vernswifevickie 350.5 #412 4:28PM
