My cousin  was lost fighting in Getmany in WWII. My mom went in the service with three more of her brothers after. Their local paper called them the fighting Irishmen from their town. She was a flying nurse in the army air corps. they'd fly to the front lines, pick up the worst wounded and try to fly them to hospitals. Several times they didn't think they'd make it back to the hospital due to being shot at. She was amazing! She's in Heaven now. I know a lot of us had parents in the service. #WeighInWednesday. Down another pound. At least I'm slowly losing what I gained. I'll take it! Started working with weights this week.

Great job with the scale!  And weight training is so important to our bone health. Weights and resistance training are the only way to maintain or increase bone density. #WeighInWednesday. I lost a pound. Yeah! I really lost one of the 5 pounds I've gained, but at least now I'm moving in the right direction.

I have a fitbit and I love it. I log everything into it, food, water, sleep, exercise. It really helps with eating because it logs everything so you know exactly how much to eat daily. I just have the flex, not the fancy one. - varela2892  55.5 #4671 2:46PM

I have Fitbit Charge and I charge it every five days or so. Charges completely in one hour. I usually take it off and charge it in the morning before getting into the shower. Have you ever heard of the book French Women Don't Get Fat?  It came out about 10 years ago.  I bought it on a whim, and read through it, I still pick it up from time to time. What she had to say about food and activity really made a lot of sense to me.  It actually helped me change the way I look at food and health.  We live in a society that sends such mixed and strange messages about food, nutrition, and our health.  On one hand, there's so much excess, on the other there's so much dieting and restriction...it's no wonder we struggle to maneuver through all that!  I recommend having a look. πŸ’– good luck with your new journey! 😘🌺✨ - Spoonful_O_Sugar  627.1 #337 8:46AM

Looks like a plastic wristwatch. There are different models so you need to research what would work best for you. Syncs with smartphones. Tracks your steps,  floors climbed, sleep, calories and calories burned automatically. The app allows you to also track food, exercise, and weight. Hi everyone! I've been doing a lot more of my own cooking recently, and I was just wondering, do you have any favorite "Disney snacks/meals" that remind you of things from the parks that you are able to make at home? Ok! This is just crazy! I have gained again this week another 2.8 lbs!! I know it's me not doing the plan, not getting excersise, not relieving my stress, eating properly!!!!! I found the info on the Walking Circuit!  Go to the "Resources" button. Then go to "Chub33" and scroll down. Note: It says to enter Wait Times along the way based on the sign, CM, or your own estimate. Those are no longer acceptable Wait Times because they aren't accurate.  First time post I am working the Disneyland California adventure area until June 30 I'm from Seattle and walk Monday through Friday 20,000 steps so I had seven days of our of walking in the parks the first week was with My family but since they left Saturday I went up and now close to were I was on Friday last week 290 - ardisney  8.8 #12290 5:07AM

Which Fitbit do you use? I use the Charge and log all my exercise and food/beverages. It tracks your caloric input and output and gives you a caloric plan for your weight loss goals. I suck at steps but am pretty good with exercise and diet.  - Ilovegoofy  52.4 #4792 5:18PM

How fantastic!  There's going to be a lot of walking in FL. What if you just forget the scale and working out and go for walks everyday instead?  Start with a half hour if you can. I guarantee you will lose weight, your clothes will fit better, and your legs won't be as tired in WDW. Your upcoming trip can be an awesome motivator! - Ilovegoofy  52.4 #4792 8:58PM

#weighinwednesday. How'd everyone do? I'm down 4 lbs, which isn't really "down"....I just finally lost the weight from my 2 days of eating cookies, pizza and candy! Now to lose my last 3-5 lbs....

Oh that's fun!  I little sunshine sure helps... Especially in cold weather climates. We were stationed in Annapolis, MD for two years. I clearly remember the day it hit 42degrees!  We all broke out the strollers and walked all over "the yard" (Naval Academy Campus) stripping off layer after layer!!!   - Ilovegoofy  52.4 #4792 9:03PM
