I have a big list too, since I keep adding to my previous requests. Here goes The Drum Line or anything from the Soundsational Parade, anything from Bugs Land, and any Disneyland Band (There are several around the Parks),  any Caution Signs from Autopia (Tagged you for that), something from the Pinocchio Ride would be nice, and some bunches of the beautiful flowers around the parks.  How about a Sticker of the Evil Queen or something from Snow White. There are Snow White rides here and at WDW, the Land Speeder Parking for the Trials of the Temple Parking (Tagged you for that). I posted an empty Elevator Car on the Haunted Mansion (Tagged you), How about the Petrified Tree?  The re-release of the Dole Whip Sticker. I am still trying to get that.  Thanks @@@Admin - Winnie111286  17108.0 #2 12:35PM

#WeighInWednesday. Down another pound. At least I'm slowly losing what I gained. I'll take it! Started working with weights this week.

Great job with the scale!  And weight training is so important to our bone health. Weights and resistance training are the only way to maintain or increase bone density. Especially important to women to help prevent osteoperosis (sp?) and fractures. Keep up the good work! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:40AM
Thanks!  Bone density and strength is my ultimate goal. I had 4 bone fractures in an 18 month period and was finally diagnosed with osteopenia (pre-osteosporosis). Exercise, weights, calcium, weight loss is sooooo important.  - disneyforme  249.3 #1397 5:57PM

#WeighInWednesday. I lost a pound. Yeah! I really lost one of the 5 pounds I've gained, but at least now I'm moving in the right direction.

Down 2 but since I gained last week it's just a break even. Oh well. I've upped my activity, been drinking more water and trying to eat better. It'll eventually kick in.  - TiggersAndTinks  176.1 #2347 8:25PM

Good morning. It has been a while since I have been on. Not doing well with the weight loss πŸ˜ͺ I have gone to WW for 6 years, lost 50 lbs and now through yo yo-ing have gained it all back. I have decided to take a break from the meetings and weigh ins but hope to find support here more often. Looking to buy a fit bit and get motivated in the way of moving more than in food. I have my dw trip to  More...

I have a fitbit and I love it. I log everything into it, food, water, sleep, exercise. It really helps with eating because it logs everything so you know exactly how much to eat daily. I just have the flex, not the fancy one. - varela2892  53.0 #4767 2:46PM
Never had one but you say log into do you do this via you computer or phone ? I an very tech challenged  - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 8:39PM
Me too!  Love it - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:44AM
mmddgp you log info in your phone via app that is free with phone. Super user friendly set up and updating.  - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:45AM
Love my Fitbit flex. It does make you more reliant on the app to get info but it does the job.  - TiggersAndTinks  176.1 #2347 8:26PM
It is both a app on your phone or you can use your computer. The only thing about it I don't like is having to charge it about every other day. I know someone who has a Garmin and the charge lasts for a year, it runs off of watch batteries.  @@@@@@mmddgp - varela2892  53.0 #4767 8:51AM
I have Fitbit Charge and I charge it every five days or so. Charges completely in one hour. I usually take it off and charge it in the morning before getting into the shower. I also charge at night if I'm soaking my muscles in the tub.  Either way I'm not missing logging any steps.  - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:49AM
Have you ever heard of the book French Women Don't Get Fat?  It came out about 10 years ago.  I bought it on a whim, and read through it, I still pick it up from time to time. What she had to say about food and activity really made a lot of sense to me.  It actually helped me change the way I look at food and health.  We live in a society that sends such mixed and strange messages about food, nutrition, and our health.  On one hand, there's so much excess, on the other there's so much dieting and restriction...it's no wonder we struggle to maneuver through all that!  I recommend having a look. πŸ’– good luck with your new journey! 😘🌺✨ - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 8:46AM
Also, have you ever thought of doing a RunDisney race?  They are so fun, and encouraging, and you don't have to run--many people walk!  Fun family activities ☺️ 5k is 3 miles and pretty doable for people who are in basic good health and train.  They've been great motivators for me and my husband over the last few years.  Much less pressure during the race than I expected, too - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 3:22PM
Thanks for the info on the book, I will look into it. I have done a couple area 5k and really don'tMind them at all. For me it is just getting in the habit of doing something, anything consistently. I do like the strategy of WW everything with in reason is allowed and also get in exercise which is a good balance.   - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 7:38AM
I always wondered if you have to run or can just walk. Thanks for the info and encouragement for everyone! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:50AM
If any one is interested, RunDisney is now doing "virtual" 5K races this summer, too.  That could be a fun motivator and something to do with family/friends!  You get a medal and everything.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 6:33AM

Looks like a plastic wristwatch. There are different models so you need to research what would work best for you. Syncs with smartphones. Tracks your steps,  floors climbed, sleep, calories and calories burned automatically. The app allows you to also track food, exercise, and weight. The app also allows you to buddy up with other users for challenges.  You are supposed to take 10,000 steps a day for good health.  - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:48PM

Hi everyone! I've been doing a lot more of my own cooking recently, and I was just wondering, do you have any favorite "Disney snacks/meals" that remind you of things from the parks that you are able to make at home? (And maybe tweak to make them at least slightly more healthy, haha πŸ˜‚) What are your suggestions? οΏΌοΏΌ

Good question!  The only healthy thing I eat in DL is bananas from the fresh fruit carts in TL, Main Street, and NOS. I can't wait to see what people post... Any low fat Funnel Cake recipes out there?! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 4:36PM
Thanks for answering!  I found a Dole Whip copycat recipe from Blentec that I want to try soon.  Looks quick and easy and only 60 calories per 1/2 cup!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 7:43AM
That's fantastic!  You'll have to post about it once you do make it. I'm not a pineapple person. Is there somewhere in DL where you can get chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream? - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 9:40AM
I know that there's soft serve in DCA at the Cozy Cones and on the pier.  However, I can't think of anywhere in DL that serves soft serve.  That's a good question!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 11:43AM

I found the info on the Walking Circuit!  Go to the "Resources" button. Then go to "Chub33" and scroll down. Note: It says to enter Wait Times along the way based on the sign, CM, or your own estimate. Those are no longer acceptable Wait Times because they aren't accurate. Happy Monday, everyone! It's a brand new week. Time to continue with a great routine or hit the reset button if you had a few bad days. Two and a half pounds a week is the most you should lose in a healthy way. Don't go crazy or beat yourselves up... Slow and steady wins the race. Have a great week!

Thank you for the encouragement--hope you have a great week!  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 5:28PM

I have had a few bad yearsπŸ˜ͺ I just can't seem to get motivated! Feeling so frustrated and depressed - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 6:38PM
One day at a time.  Maybe you need a new focus or goal to motivate you. And you definitely need to find something you like to do to keep you moving. What can we do that will best encourage you? - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:50PM
Aww your sweet! Just hearing all your comments is encouraging. Thank you all so much. I have 3 1/2 months to get busy, we are taking my grandkids back to Disney world aug 5th- 14, it would be nice to loose 15-20 lbs but that may be stretching it - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 7:56PM
How fantastic!  There's going to be a lot of walking in FL. What if you just forget the scale and working out and go for walks everyday instead?  Start with a half hour if you can. I guarantee you will lose weight, your clothes will fit better, and your legs won't be as tired in WDW. Your upcoming trip can be an awesome motivator! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:58PM
PS - you gotta post some pics here with your grands when you get to WDW!!!! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 8:59PM
Thanks. We have been doing the grand kid trip for 20 years starting with 1 now it is with 6 and my oldest has asked to go with his fiancΓ©. So excited  - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 7:34AM
Wow!  How blessed you are to have so many grandkids and to be able to share wonderful times and places with them.  And now one is engaged!  You could be a great grand soon.  Not that you aren't "great" already.  - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 10:33AM
Yes it won't be long, probably a couple of years and I will be a great nana ! Can't wait for a new little one, my youngest is 9  - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 3:09PM

#weighinwednesday. How'd everyone do? I'm down 4 lbs, which isn't really "down"....I just finally lost the weight from my 2 days of eating cookies, pizza and candy! Now to lose my last 3-5 lbs....

I'm down two. But I've got a lot more than 3-5 to go. Little steps, right? - TiggersAndTinks  176.1 #2347 6:30PM
@msdizmauiThank you!! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 11:55AM
@mmddgp Great things to concentrate on!  I can understand your disappointment. Just know if you did it once you can do it again. We hear it all the time but I really believe it's a way of life, not a diet. I hope today is a warm beautiful day where ever you live! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 11:54AM
It was a beautiful day sunny and 68 but I worked all dayπŸ˜ͺ my grandson did have a game so we did get to enjoy the outdoors for a couple of hours. Thank you for your support😘 - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 7:44PM
Oh that's fun!  I little sunshine sure helps... Especially in cold weather climates. We were stationed in Annapolis, MD for two years. I clearly remember the day it hit 42degrees!  We all broke out the strollers and walked all over "the yard" (Naval Academy Campus) stripping off layer after layer!!!   - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 9:03PM

Oh my goodness I have missed so much great conversation. I have to get back in here. I was in conferences in Orlando and yes I got to do a couple days at Epcot. Weighed in today and was up another 2.2 lbs!! I have to get busy. I thought I would have done better than that, I got at least 9,000 steps in each day and felt I made wise choices. Oh well back to the grind, this week my goal is to track d  More...

Thank you for your photos of your trip!  Glad you had fun and that you made healthy choices: that's what's most important, in my view.  Take it one step at a time πŸ‘£now that you're back--sounds like you have sensible, do-able goals for this week. πŸ‘πŸ˜„  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  626.4 #337 9:26PM
But you had a good time and that's what counts!  The weight will come off.   - msdizmaui  752.2 #262 2:13PM
How fun!  And that's a great step count!!!!  Great job!!! Did you post that topiary collage in DL talk a few days ago?  The Snow White is beautiful!!   - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 9:07PM
I did! There are actually a couple of them. Yes the Snow White and dwarfs are one of my favorites but they are all so amazing and pictures really don't do them justice.  - mmddgp  1062.7 #7 7:53PM
I hope to see them in person some year!  Until then I'm so happy to experience it via MW. So thank you so much for sharing! - Ilovegoofy  50.3 #4888 9:00PM
