down 11lbs, our next visit will be the first week in Oct and I'm shooting for 30lbs. I'm going slow and steady and not rushing. Our weekend in April was a huge eye opener on how out of shape i am so I'm very excited about Oct! Not only because we'll be at Disneyland staying at the Grand but to see how my physical fitness has improved!!
Happy New Year everyone! I'm back on the low carb "lifestyle" (my son says that I shouldn't call it a "diet"). I finally got up the nerve to weigh, and just like I thought, I gained 15 lbs since I lost my job (20 total). No more See's candy and pizza! I'm actually feeling so much better! Here's to staying on plan this year!
I've been slowly working on working out. We were just at the parks for a day(and night) and i know exactly what i need to work on! I need to lose 30lbs before my gyno will do my ablation . So this is my first post of many about my journey. I'm not sure if this is the right setting but this is such a wonderful app that i feel comfortable starting here.

i was doing so good on eating healthy and getting my 10,000 steps in but the last month i've done nothing. I am very down in the dumps. I took a walk today and felt better but could only walk half of what i had been. starting today i have to get off my butt and keep walking. We've got 60 days till or next visit and i refuse to not be ready for it!!!!
Help! I'm having issues with one of my sons and its making me sad and all I want to do is eat. I'm so mad at myself. I worked so hard to lose the weight (and vacation is in August). Why do I let emotions control me (and why do cookies make it all better). Sorry...needed to vent.

Hi everyone! I've been doing a lot more of my own cooking recently, and I was just wondering, do you have any favorite "Disney snacks/meals" that remind you of things from the parks that you are able to make at home? (And maybe tweak to make them at least slightly more healthy, haha 😂) What are your suggestions? ￼￼
Ok my weigh in was today and I was down4.4 lbs. how? I do not know! I did not feel it, I actually felt up. Anyway it is a start and we are heading into easter weekend so my goal is continue drinking my water, get two days of activity in this week( right now I do none) and maintain my weight for next week.
