I have a question. My dad is a cancer survivor and has to be careful around people so he won't get sick and we're going to dland for new years and I was wondering if we could call in and get special seating for the fireworks?

Oh good question not sure. Anyone??? If you dont get an answer tonight bump this thread in the morning! - Kittymeowmeow  271.3 #815 11:40PM
Hmmmm. Katie might know, I think she's still on?? - Ms.Mouseketeer  1000.8 #88 11:42PM
If he is in a wheelchair. There is a wheelchair section. But you can always check at city hall. - ImAlwaysCrazy  646.4 #166 11:43PM
Alright because I've read on here that fantasmic is around $60 for special seating but I was hoping they did that for other events. - Kellykitty  7.8 #7687 11:44PM
The $60 is for a desert and show thing at the river bell terrace. - ImAlwaysCrazy  646.4 #166 11:46PM
He doesn't have a wheel chair but he has a feeding tube and I just want him to enjoy himself a little better. - Kellykitty  7.8 #7687 11:47PM
I would check at city hall or call DL before you go. - ImAlwaysCrazy  646.4 #166 11:49PM
Yeah my mom is going to do that but I figured I'd check here first since other Disney fans are a great resource. - Kellykitty  7.8 #7687 11:50PM
I believe the most you'd be able to do is ask for a Guest Assistance Card stating his condition is quite severe. But nothing would hurt to talk to a City Hall rep and see what they can do. Other than that I think it would just be best to wait for fireworks early enough. - Katie_CM89  174.7 #1931 12:11AM
You can also request a GAC aka Guest Assistance Card which allows him and his group to wait in an alternative line for attractions so he is not exposed to other peoples germs. It's usually the wheelchair entrance. I can't remember if you need a MD note. Call city hall for more info. - Polkadobo  372.1 #371 12:13AM
Oops, Katie is too fast! - Polkadobo  372.1 #371 12:13AM

Alright thank you so much. This is his first time back to the park after starting to feel better after a year of treatments and I just wanted to make it a little easier for him and any little thing helps. - Kellykitty  7.8 #7687 12:18AM
