How many of you have been the recipient of a RAK (random act of kindness) in the "real" world outside of MW? A few days ago it was pouring rain and I was trying to quickly load my groceries into the back of my car and a nice gentleman stopped and helped me! It made my day!
we were in new york, and our parking meter ran out of time. as\ we were running to put some money in (becuase the police were out giving tickets) a 60-some lady put some $$ in it and claimed it was her car. she didnt see us and we ran up to her to thank her! she was so nice. a really nice car came to the curb about 5 minutes later and a chauffer opened it, and it happened to be hers. we were so thankful! - cancelaccount

Three weeks ago I went to breakfast with my husband and his friend (they're both in the USAF). Someone paid for our breakfast but left before we could thank them! It was so thoughtful and unexpected! Such a blessing. - PrettyPixie

One time after a Nuggets (pro b-ball team in Denver) game we went to this sports bar across the street & my BFF & I paid for a round of drinks for about 6 guys sitting at the end of our table! It was so funny trying to watch them figure out who had done it! - Dreamseeker

I went to dinner with the group of managers from our local stores after a meeting. We went to Applebee's because they had the 2 for $20 deal. There was about 10-12 of us and when we were getting ready to leave, one of the guys said "Just take care of the tip". He paid for everyone's meal! So unexpected and so awesome!!! - SPandEvLover

I went to DL alone on Thurs for my bday. Standing in line at the Blue Ribbon for a demitasse cup I starting talking to a lovely couple from London, small chit chat and such. They asked what I would recommend/what I was waiting for and when they were called up they bought me the Mickey demitasse for me. Disney magic at work - Ladystrac

Hearing all these stories makes me sad =0(
The other day I had my hands full with my diaperbag, daughter and blankets and was walking into a store and the dude in front of me let the door close on me. I had to turn my.shoulder really quick to keep the door from hitting my daughter. Stupid door was heavy. oh well i'll just keep being who i am and be polite and kind to the.people around me. Im inspired to pay for the coffee of the person behind me at Starbucks. I think I'll do that today! - vanessa3198

GREAT stories!! I especially enjoy hearing about the people who RAK others anonymously, as I feel they are genuinely giving from the heart! - TinkPen

That stinks Vanessa but I love that you want to turn it into something good. Whenever stuff like that happens I try to remember that everyone can have a bad day and you have to forgive them and move on. If I were at starbucks I would buy you a latte! - RocklinMousewife
