On Splash Mnt do they lower the water level or do something so u dont get as wet on the really cold days/night?? Heard theories about it.
If it's under 70 degrees outside they switch out the water for some sort of Disney Synthetic "Water" that just beads off the skin as if u were covered in RainX - DrGonzo!

Trying to win an argument with my finance chrissykins. I say they don't do anything she says they do something with the water level. I tested it out a week or so ago but the results were inconclusive. - ManBearPig

I rode it a couple weeks ago at midnight at a crisp 43 degrees my face got wet from the mist above the briar patch but managed to stay okay dry. There was a girl who rode by herself in the front and she got soaked so I think it depends where you sit - like always - Smart.tea

I agree SmartTea, I guess it just matters where you sit. I was sitting in the back. So didn't get as wet. - ManBearPig

I think it depends on the weight and water pressure at the bottom of the water fall. - OynnhoJ

I think it does depend on the weight of the boat. My son and husband rode it about 5 times in february and didn't get wet. Then a "large" family of 4 got on the same boat and they got drenched. - Disneyaddict

I am overweight, my son is tall and I always ask for the front of the log. With our weight in the front of the log it "purls" under the water for the wave effect. Total wettness. - Plumiegirl

Plumiegirl we experienced this wave effect last month and it was a horrible giant wave! My daughter and I had to go buy new clothes cause we were soaked so bad and it was getting chilly! The "smaller" couple behind us in the back barely got a sprinkle - 4DsnyLvrsNUtah

Actually! I JUST saw this on a Disneyland Resort documentary on NetFlix ... They do change the water levels depending on the season. They said they want park guests to enjoy the water rides without having to get wet on a cold day :) - michelledork
