Once on a day a friend was blocked out, I tried to take him to see world of color from the Grand Californian Villa balcony. Yeah, yeah... I know it's locked and everything but I figured it would be a fun chance to take and when I got to the door I could see a bunch of people up there who were of course watching the show through the glass door. I politely knocked on the door and some little kids walked up to it. I mouthed "can you open the door please?" and they POINTED AND LAUGHED at me and didn't unlock the door!! - Kayoss

Mav, i think its totally worth it. its not built for fams. just disney lovers. the point system is a little hard to get use to in at the start, but it is a really good deal, Honeybear_smacks is a DVC member, and i know that she would not go to DL so much with out that membership... she loves it! - vikkimus

DL is a safe place for me to go to because it's familiar. But I need to enjoy life. I'm hoping that next year my daughter will join me next year to maybe do a cruise. Okay I'm just slightly jealous. We stayed in our two bedroom villa a couple weekends ago and our view was the backside of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. How do you manage to get the awesome views all the time?!? Also, what time generally do they let you check in? We were told we were guaranteed in after 5 for a villa, which for us kinda sucks since we a long drive and don't want to have to wait - CaliCanuck
