I know what you mean. No snow in Phoenix, but we don't miss it. Lived in the north for all of our lives before recently moving to Arizona for the warm weather and the sun. - Dougr92

@dlmom2, my husband works in Reno once a week but when the snows falling he tries to stay way. I do love me some tahoe though. I just don't get there enough! Enjoy the snow on your side of the hill. - Pinup Princess

@disneycrazy it snow for about a minute last year but that's about it. But the last steady snow was about 8 yrs ago. My daughter was still little and my son was old enough to make snow balls. It was fun!! - tigntink

Here in south lake Tahoe we are enjoying a second day of cancelled school due to white out conditions and the prediction of another foot of snow. In the last 3 days we've gotten 3 1/2 feet of snow in my yard and I can't wait to come to southern California. In only 22 days I will be walking the streets of Disneyland and may even get to not wear a jacket. Yeah!!! - DisneyDancer

Woke up to some extra snow this morning in Reno. Glad I get to stay home today. @ Disneycrazy, I am not a fan of the bay area drivers either. The dumb ones that is. When I lived in Truckee I enjoyed watching them spin their big suv's in the snow. - dlmom2
