they are on the red list, you most likely have non-legit pins. There's no for sure way to know besides buying directly from Disney, but most pins that stick to a magenet are not legit (tho I have one I bought from Store Command that does) also non-legit ones are typically thinner, less smooth and less shiny - TickledTink

All the pins can be magnetic. I have sets that are from disney and they will attract magnets.
You will notice they are very thing and you can see the polishing marks.
That name is very familiar, he maybe the one i confronted and stopped me from buying pins from several of the retailers. I have bought from many of them and most of them will send the back so i know its real... Disneypinfreak has treated me well and if i had a questionable pin he just replaced it. - GoofyJoe
