It depends on where you are and what you're up to. My favorite late night slice is Escape From New York Pizza on Polk. In the mission there's a place called Frittz (not sure on spelling but it's the Belgian word for french fries - PrincessJ  84.9 #3263 9:57AM

Ti Couz in the outer mission for great crepes. Cha Cha Cha in Haight-Ashbury for yummy cajun shrimp and sangria (I think they have a branch in the mission too). Thanh Long for roasted crab and their famous garlic noodles. Mitchell's for pumpkin or any of their Filipino inspired flavored ice creams. Taqueria Cancun on mission for burritos.
