I am going to Blue Bayou on the 6th of february. For the first time. What should i eat? What is a monte cristo?

It depends on the time of day. There is a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Lunch time I would go with the classic Monte Cristo. It's a friend sandwhich with powder sugar over it.
For dinner (since they don't serve the Monte cristo) I suggest the surf and turf. That's my personal fav. - TheGonz

A Monte Cristo is a ham and cheese sanwich fried and powdered sugar sprinkled on it. And you get a side of grape jelly the you dip it in. It's amazingly good!! They only serve it at lunch. - Lisa

Short ribs are melt in your mouth delicious. Crab cakes are pretty good too. Pick the soup instead of the salad for a tasty start. - BigC

I ate therE last Saturday after not eating there for about 4 years. I hate to say it, but the food was VERY meh for the price. I had waited patiently too for a couple of weeks to eat there, so I was very dissapointed. There are far better restaurants at Downtown Disney for the price, and if you want to pay a tad more for an awesome steak, there is always Ruths Chris (which is simply awesome) right down the street. - ZombieJerky

Tried going there last night 1st CM told me to try in half an hour to get in and when I came back 2nd CM was soo rude stating they were only taking current reservations!! He was very upset I even asked to try to get in.. - Flor
