Morning mousewaiters! I was wondering what everyone does for a living? And do you enjoy it? Do you have time to go to Disneyland as often as you would like? I'll start, I'm a stay @ home Mom, but I'm also a massage therapist, and help out my Hubby a few times a week @ our auto registration service. I <3 my jobs! I've been able to squeeze in DL once a week since Christmas. I'd live there if I could! Lol

I work at a coffee shop and go to school full time. My major is either engineering or physics. I get to go pretty often even though I have my educational and financial responsibilities but I wouldn't say that's nearly enough. - Mark and my lady  -0.2 #166815 6:35AM
@Dusty29-sorry to hear you got laid off! :( but let me say Thank You in Advance for your commitment in serving and protecting our country! :) @ Mark and my Lady- oh wow physics or engineering! Good for you! Best of luck to you in your studies! :) - Duchess_SMK  5936.7 #15 6:42AM

I'm mostly a SAHM but used to teach school and now volunteer once a week and am uniform co-ordinator (which I hate). I'm also a pastor's wife - and believe me, that's a job! In recent times we've spent2-3 days at DL at a time in 2004, 2005 and 2007. Probably won't get back for a few years - and that's nowhere near enough for me! But I wouldn't mind betting that I am the farthest MWaiter from DL. Quickest route takes 25+ hours by plane if you're lucky! :o( - BLG  1049.5 #156 9:01AM

I am a store manager for kragen/o'reilly auto parts. I have been in the automotive feild for about 12 years and i love cars. My finance normally get to the parks a couple times a month. - Nitrobug  1469.3 #96 10:05PM
I know I'm late to this post, just enjoying everyonrs answers! My bro and I service and inspect exhaust systems I'm industrial kitchens, weird I know, but supports the DL habbit. Also a Kung Fu instructor 3 days a week. - Name(required)Cd9  -0.1 #165247 12:04AM
I write music and television scripts in LA. I've been really lucky, met some amazing people, and thankfully can visit Disneyland whenever I want. An extended illness has kept me on the down low for 4 years, but this year I hope to return to work and make even more friends within the Disney company. I was lucky enough to escort an ederly imagineer to Disneyland's 50th Anniversery gala, which was probably my single happiest memory. So many talented, accomplished, and dazziling people that night. So many stories, so many memories. It reminded me what people can accomplish when they still have that spark of curiosity and the burning desire to share their work with the world on such a grand scale. It meant so much to me and the memory gives me hope for the future after a difficult period. - Kayoss  82.7 #3717 1:56AM
A Unix/Linux system admin. Formerly an Oracle database admin. I live close enough that we would go 3-4 times a week during the summer. It is tougher when my kids started school though. They have to go to bed early, so we only go 1 or 2 times a week - ZombieJerky  372.1 #560 2:42AM
I am a Registered Nurse. I work ER's on the weekend and run a clinic in LA during the week. I love all my jobs, and adore being a nurse. We go to DL about 2 x a month on Sundays( blocked out on Sat). I looked into working at the park, but you must be Part time (no Per Diem). And commit to 6 shifts a month. If I could work 1 or 2 weekend a month, I would work there in a second. - Out numbered mom  -0.2 #166542 3:17AM
I teach elementary school in Northern California. Since I districts around here are not hiring full time teachers right now I am a substitute. Currently I am a long term substitute teacher in a 3rd grade class. I have been with those kids since December and will be with them until the end of the school year. I absolutely love teaching! It is so rewarding! The district I work in has year-round schools, so I get whole months off at a time. I am off now and will be off again in May. Love, love, love the year round schedule! It provides lots of opportunities for vacations without crowds. DH and I are AP holders right now because we went in mid December for the holidays and we will be returining in May for our 1 year anniversary. Hoping for a great AP rate so we can stay at PPH or DLH! - Cutedisneygirly  2.3 #56977 7:21AM

http://cchealth.org/eh/retail-food/dog-law-faq.php Β  I know folks love theiri pets but I still do not think this is sanitary Β from a food perspective. See the url for CA law. Unless they provide a designated pet area outside, dogs cannot lick the plates/utensils, who cleans up after a dog accident......No pets in at a restaurant for now (service dogs are the exception). Disney is excellent with their food cleanliness in the parks per the Public health inspections. DTD does not fare as well per Retaurarant inspection. Check the Health Care Agency for the current restaurant inspections. As a Public health nurse I always check to see who is keeping clean in their kitchens. Diners beware! - Plumiegirl  8607.7 #3 10:42AM

unFORECAST for the week of Monday April 20, 2015

CROWD PREDICTION: Back to short hours this week, and based on our Historical Crowd Index, we see mid-70s with crowds decreasing through the end of the month. There is also a chance of rain toward the end of the week which could throw a wrench in things. Friday and Sunday's have been the busiest days, but rain on Friday could cause the crowds to be significantly less. Have a great weekend! - Admin Apr 21, 2015 11:28AM

We have always noticed that Saturdays are better than Sundays! We always come on the weekend and say we want to leave at dinner time on Sunday, but always leave by 11-12 because there are so many people. We love Saturday!! - 1Princess3Princes  373.0 #559 5:39PM
