Morning mousewaiters! I was wondering what everyone does for a living? And do you enjoy it? Do you have time to go to Disneyland as often as you would like? I'll start, I'm a stay @ home Mom, but I'm also a massage therapist, and help out my Hubby a few times a week @ our auto registration service. I <3 my jobs! I've been able to squeeze in DL once a week since Christmas. I'd live there if I could! Lol

I work at a coffee shop and go to school full time. My major is either engineering or physics. I get to go pretty often even though I have my educational and financial responsibilities but I wouldn't say that's nearly enough. - Mark and my lady  -0.2 #182732 6:35AM
@Dusty29-sorry to hear you got laid off! :( but let me say Thank You in Advance for your commitment in serving and protecting our country! :) @ Mark and my Lady- oh wow physics or engineering! Good for you! Best of luck to you in your studies! :) - Duchess_SMK  6631.6 #23 6:42AM

I'm mostly a SAHM but used to teach school and now volunteer once a week and am uniform co-ordinator (which I hate). I'm also a pastor's wife - and believe me, that's a job! In recent times we've spent2-3 days at DL at a time in 2004, 2005 and 2007. Probably won't get back for a few years - and that's nowhere near enough for me! But I wouldn't mind betting that I am the farthest MWaiter from DL. Quickest route takes 25+ hours by plane if you're lucky! :o( - BLG  1048.9 #215 9:01AM

I am a store manager for kragen/o'reilly auto parts. I have been in the automotive feild for about 12 years and i love cars. My finance normally get to the parks a couple times a month. - Nitrobug  1469.3 #139 10:05PM
I know I'm late to this post, just enjoying everyonrs answers! My bro and I service and inspect exhaust systems I'm industrial kitchens, weird I know, but supports the DL habbit. Also a Kung Fu instructor 3 days a week. - Name(required)Cd9  -0.1 #181478 12:04AM
I write music and television scripts in LA. I've been really lucky, met some amazing people, and thankfully can visit Disneyland whenever I want. An extended illness has kept me on the down low for 4 years, but this year I hope to return to work and make even more friends within the Disney company. I was lucky enough to escort an ederly imagineer to Disneyland's 50th Anniversery gala, which was probably my single happiest memory. So many talented, accomplished, and dazziling people that night. So many stories, so many memories. It reminded me what people can accomplish when they still have that spark of curiosity and the burning desire to share their work with the world on such a grand scale. It meant so much to me and the memory gives me hope for the future after a difficult period. - Kayoss  82.7 #4136 1:56AM
A Unix/Linux system admin. Formerly an Oracle database admin. I live close enough that we would go 3-4 times a week during the summer. It is tougher when my kids started school though. They have to go to bed early, so we only go 1 or 2 times a week - ZombieJerky  372.1 #699 2:42AM
I am a Registered Nurse. I work ER's on the weekend and run a clinic in LA during the week. I love all my jobs, and adore being a nurse. We go to DL about 2 x a month on Sundays( blocked out on Sat). I looked into working at the park, but you must be Part time (no Per Diem). And commit to 6 shifts a month. If I could work 1 or 2 weekend a month, I would work there in a second. - Out numbered mom  -0.2 #182461 3:17AM
I teach elementary school in Northern California. Since I districts around here are not hiring full time teachers right now I am a substitute. Currently I am a long term substitute teacher in a 3rd grade class. I have been with those kids since December and will be with them until the end of the school year. I absolutely love teaching! It is so rewarding! The district I work in has year-round schools, so I get whole months off at a time. I am off now and will be off again in May. Love, love, love the year round schedule! It provides lots of opportunities for vacations without crowds. DH and I are AP holders right now because we went in mid December for the holidays and we will be returining in May for our 1 year anniversary. Hoping for a great AP rate so we can stay at PPH or DLH! - Cutedisneygirly  2.3 #61889 7:21AM

14 more days and I shall be entering in wait times for the first time( I was slow and shy to post). Well actually it will be 15 days. The first  day we check in and go to Trader Sam's. πŸ˜‰ - varela2892  109.8 #3620 7:14AM
I just want to thank all the newbies who are on the list so much lately! This was started as a wait time and more app so by your starting out from the beginning doing wait times is awesome! 2/3of my points are from wait times. I make a game of it and have fun doing them. Hope everyone tries it, it helps others and you earn credits!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ - secretagentangel  12858.7 #9 9:06PM

I only post wait times if I've actually gone on the ride..( with the exception if the line is extra short, or extra long..) I try to give folks a heads up. Most of the time I have trouble posting times in certain areas of the park so I get frustrated... - carminaire  1109.0 #200 1:19PM
You're allowed to do it from the sign in front of each attraction or if you go on it a lot and can see the line is shorter/longer you can post that.  - secretagentangel  12858.7 #9 9:04PM

Get a quick overview of the new features in MouseWait 9 for iOS, our biggest update since 2009! Get the free version here, or upgrade to Platinum here

Just installed the MW app on my new phone yesterday. This will be very helpful for me since I am used to the android version. Thank you. - teapotsandteacups  5170.6 #30 11:41PM
I've had a lot of trouble with platinum version. It seems to "magically" close itself at random times. The most common random closes are: after updating ride or food times, after clicking on a different feature in the app, or immediately after opening. I generally have to re-open it 2-3 times, at which point it stays open until I've made my update, but if I stop using it for more than 5 minutes and go back to it I have to go through the magical closings again. πŸ˜“ - Mouse28  946.2 #236 9:06AM
I never had that issue with the free version.  - Mouse28  946.2 #236 9:06AM
I had the same issues more so in the park  - Plumiegirl  10886.1 #11 5:42PM
Same here  - Melody_CM  37233.1 #2 7:57AM
And I can only load videos from the non platinum MW  - Plumiegirl  10886.1 #11 9:02PM
This was helpful.. But I'm still having an issue posting to pics to the loungeπŸ˜‘ - 1Minnie58  7.9 #14498 10:12AM
