Here's a scary but true story: On my wife's first trip to Disneyland, she refused to do Tower of Terror. After I bugged her relentlessly, she finally said "If I ride it once, will will you shut the bleep up and drop the subject?" I said yes. She rode it, loved it, and made me jump back I line and go back on it two more times! Tower o Terror has now posessed my wife's soul..... - DoleWhipComa

It's not my most scariest but it's a lil story. I had just come home, my mom was downstairs and I headed up stairs. My stairs were in two parts( kinda like a U) and as I hit the midway point of the stairs I heard music of a musical bear that only plays when you "press here" on it's paw. There was no one upstairs and it was completely dark. I raced down stairs and told my mom what I heard. She went upstairs ( I made her go first) and we went into the room to check out the bear. We checked it for batteries... And they were there... LoL scarier if they weren't! But I don't know how the music went off. We landed throwing the bear away - AllStar34

Dude, just read this short story experience. This would be my worst nightmare --- My friend and I were babysitting and we started getting spooked, so we put the two kids to bed and started watching TV. I got up to get a drink and noticed that there was a thing that looked like a clown sitting in the dining room chair. I told my friend and we called the owner of the house. What she told us scared the heck out of us! She said to get out of the house IMMEDIATELY. When we asked why, she told us that her neighbor was a deranged midget and sometimes he would dress up like a clown and break into their house. He has threatened them before but they thought he was just kidding. We got the kids and called the police. Everybody is safe and he is now in a mental institution. - Jayjay

I bought my daughter a Halloween Furby one year, and we couldn't get the darn thing to work - tried some different batteries, read the paperwork, reset it - nothing. Decides to return it to the store. On the way over as I was making a sharp turn, the Furby and box went sliding across the back seat. As it was sliding, we heard "Weeeeeee!!'" coming from the Furby!! We ended up keeping the darn thing, but my daughter always insisted it was weird and kept it in the hall closet at night! - TinkPen

@ Chargers, found it on a short scarey stories site... Seriously though my clown phobia is rooted from a much scarier personal experience as well as my midget phobia... Maybe someday I will share... - Jayjay

I've got one. Sorta...It's not too scary. I've always believed that I'm "sensitive" to paranormal things. I try not to acknowledge it but whatever...Anyways a few years ago I used to have a radio in my room and I would play music from it when I would get ready for school in the morning. One day we had a black out as I was playing my music and as soon as the music cut out, I heard someone say "Are you okay?". This was super clear as if the voice was right in my room. Needless to say, I bolted out of my room in my underwear. I know it wasn't my mom because she was in the kitchen. But whoever and whatever it was, she was looking out for me. So that's not too bad I guess. - LaPetiteSirene

The music thing happened to me once. I used to collect music boxes (until the 1989 earthquake in the bay area and my cabinet fell over and broke all of them) anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night one night because I heard music, when I went into my living room onw of the boxes was playing by itself....eeeek! - Disneylyn

OMG WTH Tinkpen?!?! That Furbee would have been Weeeeeing straight out my car window. No way Jose!!! I hate haunted toys!! My son had a Night NIght Ernie that would talk and say he needed a nap then yawn and in a very monotone voice would sing twinkle twinkle lil star. That fool ended up going on on his own all the time so we took the batts out of him and when we moved out here three years ago my youngest found him and took him out of the storage bag and into his new room. One night my yongest came into our room complaining that Ernie kept waking him up. My hubby annoyed yelled for him to go back to bed. 5 minutes later both kids had all the lights up stairs turned on and the oldest stormed into our room saying "WTF mom, why is Ernie singing, didnt we take his batteries out like 3 years ago?" Hubby and I irritated, launch out of bed and walk towards room and hear the frickon thing going off. All four of us were staring at it in the room from the doorway. Hubby looks at me kinda like WTF and then goes in room and grabs the thing and stomps down stairs to the garage. A minute later I hear, "JAY" its hubby calling me down after i put kids back to their rooms and in bed. I walk down and he's sitting in living room and whispers, "theres no effin batteries in the dam thing. Guess he freaked, stuffed it in a cardboard box and ran it out to the dumpster!!! - Jayjay

I've got another one actually! I went to the Whaley House in Old Town, San Diego. I went with my Mom, armed with my camera. Took a few pictures here and there. Found some orbs, nothing crazy. In the courtroom, I swear my mom was standing right next to me as I was reading some literature on the place because I felt someone's cold hand touching my arm as if they were trying get my attention. This happened about 4 times before I looked up and saw that my mom was across the room. - LaPetiteSirene

My grandmas farm house is hainted. I could go on all night with stories about that place. There is a dirt basement and around the entire perimeter of the house there is a set of double walls. You can actually crawl through the walls and see some pretty scary stuff. One of my aunts painted one of the rooms bright red and then took a pic of it. You can see a face in the picture on one of the walls. Another time my cousins and i were sleeping over, and because we were scared we slept on grandmas floor. When we woke up, there was an area rug and two chairs lying on top of us. I could barely breath because of the rug on top of me. No one else was in the house but grandma, and she's not much for jokes. - Missshelly

Okay I'm taking a break from textbook reading. This is a super good one. My brother found this taco shop in Bonita called TJ oyster bar (GREEEEAAAT food btw). It had been there for a while and so my fam decided to go there one night. As we arrived in the parking lot, I got a really eerie feeling that I couldn't describe. As we entered the restaurant, I felt a super heavy pressure or presence around me that was not threatening but pretty uncomfortable. This place was super tiny so we had to sit side by side at the bar. I only ordered one taco because I was really uncomfortable. As I was eating, I felt like I was being watched by one of the workers, but everytime I looked up there was no one there. I could swear I was seeing a man in a white shirt with an apron and one of those shorter toques in my peripheral vision. But everytime I looked up, he was not there. I pretty much lost my appetite but didn't tell my fam until we got home. Apparently my brother had felt like he was being watched too but didn't think anything of it. And as soon as we left the restaurant, I didn't feel the uncomfortable pressure anymore. I got chills just thinking about this one. - LaPetiteSirene

Just updating my ongoing story with lil dzny and her ghost. The ghost has returned. She came back on Sunday. Today lil dzny was talking about Joyce. Unless my hubby is cheating we don't know anyone named Joyce. Now I have to start doing some investigating cuz it's getting pretty weird. - DznyHeart
