6.0+ earthquake predicted for LA on Thursday. I'm bummed because this is during my trip! Anyone have any advice/ experience with this?

They have been predicting a 6.0+ earthquake to hit northern california for awhile now...still waiting. I'm sure it will happen one day but they can't pin point "a day" it will happen. - MrsMinnie

I took a earthquake class in college. I can tell you that it is nearly impossible to predict a earthquake. Doesn't hurt to be prepared though. - BillE

I have lived 5mins. From DL for 17 years and have experienced many earthquakes but they are not as scary as all the east coast people say so don't worry about it. Plus NO ONE can predict that - TeenMickey

Lifeguardmom that's crazy! But yeah earthquakes happen here and there we had one during the weekend in SD area but like everyone says always be prepared for emergencies period. If it were to happen while you were at the park just find a safe place to protect yourselves after that there isn't much u can do but to wait and - litswtsmile
