Does anyone else have a significant other who isn't as into disney as you are? He thinks I'm nuts for wanting to come once a year. Don't have the heart to say that I'd be there once a week if I could!
Kinda but he hasn't been since his 5th birthday and he's 18 now. Imma take him sometime gotta show him whats so great about it haha - Heather

I have to argue my way into a trip! My rational: I cook, clean, and take care of everything. For that i want 5 days at my happy place once a year. He is simply asked not to grumble too much when we get there. - Missshelly

My hubby loves Disney but hates the crowds. I told him the best way to avoid the crowds is to go with me on a rainy day, so we'll be doing that this year. - DisneyDiva

Hubby is not into Disney, but understands and supports my addiction. He will come with me only 3-4 times out of the year. He has attempted doing MW meetups with me 2 times and is throughly confused by them. - OutNumberedMom

Luckily, my hubby and I are both Disney freaks. We'd go to DL on college spring breaks, went on a Disney cruise and to WDW for our honeymoon and have been several times since, both with and without kids. We will always go, even after our kids are grown and gone. He is not an MWer, but he'd be really funny on it. He's a real smartmouth so he'd fit right in! He does love using the wait times. - Melody

I go to Disneyland about 5 or 6 times a year. Would LOVE to meet someone that enjoys it as much as I do. Seems people get burned out on it rather easily. I just love the atmosphere. Always happy and always fun... :) - christopherrobin

I have yet to hear about a MWer who got burned out on DL. I just don't think it would be possible. - OutNumberedMom

I'll be looking for a MW meetup the next time I'm there. I try to explain that I just want to sit and smell main street, and he looks at me like I'm a nut bar. Of course, I do the same when he suggests going skiing. Brrr. - Missshelly

I dated someone for years and he never took me to DL. Then I met mr.tea and he took me 2weeks after we started dating. And he asked me to marry him at snow whites wishing well. Not the same day but later on in our relationship. Now we have lil.tea and he's a month come Tuesday and he's already been twice. DL is important to us I couldn't imagine if it wasn't - Smart.tea

Hubby isn't a Disney fan. But he sure does like Disney World. Especially now that we have a kid. He doesn't go with us that often and is such a drip when he does. It's like he's bored. I can't understand his thinking. Just watching my kids face light up makes my day. Now she has a Disney smile when she wants something. AND he really doesn't get MW so I don't even try with that. It's better that way. We've even argued about it so I let it go. - DznyHeart

My husband likes Disney but doesn't quite understand how I can love it as much as I do. He'd happily go 1 or 2 times a year, though. And he totally does not understand MW but he tolerates it with a smile. I've tried to bring him to a few meet ups but he is so painfully shy it's hard. - DisneyFan

My husband likes DL but not too much and hates crowds and waiting in line. I think he would be happy going once a month or less. He just wants to relax on the weekends and waiting in lines and dealing with crowds isn't relaxing to him. He has met a few MWrs like Tom and Kalel and says they are cool. - sandra_d

Not a significant other, but I recently found out my mum doesn't like Disney. She said "It's always a sacrifice when we go to the parks, because I just don't have fun." I'm obsessed, & it's become part of my daily life. Pretty ironic! - iFramedRogerRabbit
