It's highly addictive and once your hooked your screwed. Personal experience - Kalel  108.1 #2978 10:33PM
Like Dr House. I'm only taking them at night to numb the pain so I can sleep, but it's not helping yet. - Jackie.H  14.8 #5837 10:38PM
Woah sorry to hear about your pain Jackie. Yeah be careful about vicodin.. heard it's highly addictive. Hope you feel a bit better in the morning. - MimiMouse  1015.6 #89 10:42PM

Bummer about the tail bone. I had Ultram after a car wreck and it knocked me out good. Hope the discomfort goes away quickly. - Zooter  1361.8 #60 10:48PM

Vicodin, like other painkillers, when taken responsibly, is a life saver. I used to take a half tab three times a day along with motrin and it allowed me to stand, walk and work without mind-numbing pain. When the pain subsided, I stopped using it and just used motrin. Never made me drowsy but that's bot typical. Anyway, make sure you're eating lots of fiber, otherwise you might need to keep a glass of prune juice handy. - Polkadobo  372.1 #384 10:59PM
* not typical - Polkadobo  372.1 #384 11:03PM
Vicodin did not make me sleepy at all when I had it in the hospital last time. Barely helped with the pain. Oxycodone would help after an hour or two, but as mentioned, be very careful about taking to much or becoming dependent on it. - Ht  614.0 #182 11:04PM
Yeah, vicodin alone neve helped me. I always needed the addition of a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug like motrin. People should always make sure to not take Tylenol on top of Vicodin because then you can overdose on Tylenol and mess up the liver. - Polkadobo  372.1 #384 11:07PM
Never had a problem taking Vicodin or T3's after 3 childbirths. Last year had surgery on my ulnar nerve and just about got addicted to Norco. Never wanna take those agin ever! - DesperateMousewife  873.8 #105 11:18PM
