Is the Fantasmic premium reserved seating worth the cost? I have a 4 year old and two year old, who haven't seen the show. Thanks :)
Honestly I don't think so. I wouldn't pay it. But if you want a chair and some coffee than it's for you lol. - generic

Nope, don't think it's worth it. A little strategy and patience and you can get a pretty good spot for free. - Zooter

How much is it these days? Don't they serve dessert too? - Elaine

I'm not sure of the cost; however, I'm guessing it's $50 plus per person. I was going to call this evening. Zooter, I agree w/ you, but my son is a hand full and I'm thinking the cost may be worth the convenience. I'm not sure ... I saw it from the balcony years ago and it was awesome! - BibbidiBobbidiBoo

Don't do it. Not worth 59 dollars per person. I regret doing it. - mrnavarr0

Mrnavarr0 -why did u regret it? Was the view not what u thought it would be? My son will b turning 2 during our trip and he has no patience ... But at $240 dollars maybe it's best if he stays in the hotel w/ his daddy, while I try and find a good spot for my daughter and I. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo

It used to be on the balcony and so it was cool but now it is not there anymore... No thx - Sassie_Cass

I loved it. With two young kids and not wanting to wait possibly hours for a good seat I thought it was worth it as a splurge. Yes it's expensive but it was a really neat experience and the treats and unlimited drinks were awesome. You can stay in your seats for the firework show too. If you're willing/able to spend the money I think it's totally worth it especially with young kids. - Pineapplewhip

Try going to the smoking section across from the HM. When I watched the show no one was even smoking and we just walked up to it a few mins before the show started and there were about only 5 people there it was perfect. - michelIe

Pineapplewhip, how early do u have to arrive at the reserved area for viewing? Are there rows of seats? Could u still get a bad seat if u aren't there way in advance of the show? Also, wouldn't u have to reserve the earlier fantastic show to stay and see the fireworks? Sorry for all the questions. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo

We were on the balcony around the time that Splash Mountain first opened. Boy, I'm getting old. My cousin was an executive for Disneyland, so I'm not sure if we were on the balcony for that reason or not. It was a long time ago . - BibbidiBobbidiBoo

We felt it was worth the splurge. We also have 4 and 2 year olds. We got ono (delicious in Hawn) desserts. U check in an hour before the 1st show. Get back 10-15 min b4 show starts. We were 2nd to last row, but my kids could see the show from my lap. We splurged b/c we didn't want to
spend time waiting. If u know where to go like these MWers, then I hope u get lucky! - Mami1

59 dollars isn't worth cans of soda, cheese crackers and chocolate. Sure the viewing is fine but for $59? Nope. Better off just waiting for the second show and grab a seat when everyone clears out. And u need to reserve it too. Not same day, maybe a few days advanced. Woc dining is worth every penny btw. Just throwing that in there - mrnavarr0

You can reserve 30 or 60 days in advance get it confused with dining. We always going during less busy times ao theres only one show. You look for the podium approx 630 before the 9 show and there's usually a line 30 min early for the podium. Once you've received your seat assign you come back minutes before the show if u want but it's nice to have a few minutes to get situated with your food. Not a bad seat, we've always gotten there early and gotten front seats so
Not sure about middle or back but view is good from anywhere. There's kind of two sections with several rows in each. I think I answered your questions but can't remember now;). We've done it twice and honestly don't need to do it again but I think totally worth it once especially with young kids who have never seen it which I don't think people without kids realize the value of. Waiting that long for a decent seat isn't fun with young ones. Hope it helps and made sense. :) - Pineapplewhip

As someone with a little one on the way I couldn't imagine paying that much for a non dinning package to see that show. I love fantasmic and j know all the words and the dance segments but I couldn't pay that much for my little one to be able to have to not wait for it. I would just wait for little one to get a little older. I do agree with the world of color dinning package just because I think you are getting what a good deal for what you are paying for - Smart.tea

One more quick thing, children under 3 are free so your 2 year old would sit on your lap. Might be a good time to do it since you'd have one less ticket to buy. - Pineapplewhip

I didn't get front row last time but I did get the last and they said I could stand up during the show which was the only good thing about it when I went. - mrnavarr0
