If you bought a lot and paid less than $1 per pin they are probably mostly fake. If they arrived in little individually wrapped plastic bags, fake. Visit pinpics.com and find a specific pin and they tell you how to tell. Most ate really close and hard to tell. Look across the surface of the pin, if the colors part has divots or bumps, can mean it's fake or a factory reject. Look at the detail in words on the face, I've noticed fake pins lettering is a bit smushy looking. Finally:: don't worry about it too much.
