What are some memories that stand out from visiting the park as a kid? I remember my dad pushing me to the other side of the doombuggy so the hitchhiker ghost showed up in between us. Scared the crap out of me! 

Any time we had family visit from Costa Rica we would take them to DL. Seeing the smiles on their faces never got old We would have to take them shopping for Mickey or Minnie shirts because they would refuse going without wearing them lol - LBChica

I don't remember it but have seen pix. My grandfather went once to DL and it was with me. I'll post a picture of it. Too bad he wasn't able to go with my daughter cuz I wouldve had him take the same pic. - DznyHeart

I remember going during Christmas years ago and Christmas morning I woke up and there was a tree hat with little Mickey and friends ornaments. It was really special of my parents to organize that. - Jase

Going to DL with my Girls Scout Troop when I was in the 4th grade. I eas excited to go with friends without my parents because it made me feel all grown up. lol That was when i rode the Matterhorn, Big Thunder & Space for the first time. Scared but was so excited! - Mulannn

I got to be in the mickey's detective show when I was about 8 or 9. I was super excited, especially since I'm an actress. Mickey gave me a certificate after and I went to visit Ariel and she signed the back of it for me. - Heather

I seriously got freaked out and thought they actually followed you home haha....but my favorite was every year during magic music days...my mom teaches baton and her students plus my sister would twirl in the parade and we got to go backstage before and after the parade - AuzRoxUrSox

I remember doing the hustle with my Dad in Tomorrowland in the 70's....I remember my brother throwing my sisters doll into the pool at Disneyland Hotel when I was about 6. And sleeping overnight in the park with my parents when I was in High School. - RoyannaF

My dad passed away 3 years ago, and he drove diesel cross country. I always think about him taking me to the park for my birthday in September and reading the plaque above the tunnels to me as he held my hand. I seriously tear up reading it everytime we go through. - bellapistola

I remember going to dl in 4th grade. My mom was a teachers aide and the class she worked in was going. That was the first time I rode SM. Both me and my mom got off crying. She has never been on since. Good times. - DznyHeart
