I asked this before but didn't get an answer. What's the difference between Silly Symphonies and the original Orange Stinger? Cosmetic? music?
Obviously I haven't been since they changed it but everything I've seen looks cosmetic - BLG

I think it's just cosmetic. I loved the stinger but the silly swings really does look so well thought out - Smart.tea

The Orange stinger was enclosed, Silly Symphonies is open so you can see the whole lagoon. They now blast SS music while you ride it. They tore the whole thing down and rebilt it. I want to say it goes higher now but that may just be an illusion. - PieEyedMickey

I herd they wanted it to be like the cartoon as the music plays on and the band members get swept un in the air the music still plays on like the ride. You get swept up swirling round and round. They painted it to look like the band is playing while your going round and round. - Mickeyshell

Thanks still not sure if zi will ride it but wanted to let my boys know when we are there in November. At the Disney museum there is a section on silly symphonies so I see where they got the name from. - Dizkid

Yeah it's supposed to mimic the cyclone like in the cartoon where Mickey keeps leading the orchestra while they are swept up by it - BLG

The fact that you are outside and not enclosed as with the orange provides a more exciting sensation, soaring over the lagoon. Think they added an elevator for , can't remember If that was thee before - Zooter

The tandem swings are not new on SSS. Orange Stinger had them before it closed. The difference I've noticed is a shorter ride time, different music (obviously), and the platform is no longer enclosed. That's it. - BlueberryCrusader
