#PiratesOfTheCaribbean#BackStorys Since people wanted to know the back story to Pirates of the Caribbean, here you go. You board your boat and sail down a Louisiana bayou past an old man sleeping in a rocking chair on his house porch. This man is the captain at the auctioneer who has guarded the secret entrance to the grotto holding the treasure he and his crew had accumulated over the many years. However, since he has fallen asleep, you are able to sail past him and into the grotto. Your boat then plunges down two drops, representing you travelling into his dreams and memories of the past. The rest of the attraction is a backwards time line going from present to past starting with the scenes of his crew and other pirates as skeletal remains in various scenes. This represents the reasons he has quit the pirates life, knowing he would end up this way as well if he did not. You pass a portrait of a redheaded lady wearing only orange and maroon socks, this lady of course is the famous redhead being auctioned off later in the story who has accepted the pirate's life and has become a captain herself. You may have noticed those orange and maroon socks before, that is because the Cast Members are wearing them and in fact are supposed to be a part of her pirate crew. The next scene after you exit the tunnel is the attack on Isla Tesoro with the Wicked Wench (original name of the Black Pearl before it was burned, sunk and raised from the sea) bombarding the Spanish fort. We then see that the pirates have made land fall and are questioning Magistrate Carlos as to the whereabouts of Jack Sparrow (originally the hidden treasure of the island). This concludes with the pillaging and burning of the town along with the women being sold at auction. Finally you travel through a jail scene where those who were unfortunate to get caught during the attack were placed trying to escape while their drunken shipmates fire at each other. You then travel back up the waterfall, representing the end of the dream and return to present day as you arrive back at dock.
