Long post warning: My #mousewaitanniversary was Oct 5, 2013. I've been MiA for a bit but I'm back. I don't even know where to begin but to first thank Admin for such a great App! Thanks to him him, I have friendships that will last a lifetime. A year ago, I went to MHP for the first time. I signed up for this wait time app not knowing what this app was really about. A love for Disney, support, encouragement, a good laugh after a rough day, and friendships is really what mousewait is to me. It's my Disney family I can meet up with and just enjoy the day without any hassles. Almost a year later, on my anniversary, my father passed away. I can never thank those special MWers who reached out to me over the past month, checking in with me to make sure I was ok. I am usually so quiet and keep to myself. I don't trust too many people and it amazes me that through this app, I have been able to let my guard down. Strangers who have turned out to be some of the funniest, sweetest, thoughtful people I will ever know. I have met some of the most AMAZING MWers, shared laughs with them, stories, and experienced the Disney parks in such a magic way. MY family still thinks I'm crazy but I'm proud to say I'm a MWer! My dad finally ate with me at Goofy's Kitchen about 3 months ago. Only my MW family could really understand how special that was to me. I was so excited! I was invited to Club33!!! I am so grateful to have been invited. I will never be able to thank those who made it happen enough. It's been such a blessing with the different acts of kindness that I have experienced because of the wonderful people who share their love of Disney. I can't wait to get back in the mix and start more RAKs. There are plenty more MWers I haven't met because I've been to shy, I've walked pass several of you, I'm sure and not said a word. I'm working on not being so shy. But to those of you who I've met, THANK YOU! Thank you for all of the special memories! Pinkmonkeys

Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.

Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
